Dre The Great is motivating the masses with his lyrically inspiring style and sound. His project, “The Missing Link” is another work of art that shows the genius behind his craft.

Born in the hip-hop heavy city of the Bronx, New York, Andre Barnes was influenced by the lyrically charged genre from his youth. Moving to Atlanta, GA he has evolved into an artist himself, known widely as the dope creative, Dre The Great. His sound is rooted in a caliber of lyricism that deserves all the praise it receives. Coined his very own, “High Level” sub-genre of rap, he is responsible for sensational tracks like, “Movin’ Weight” and “Smoking’ Dope (interlude).”

Still new to the game, he has already established a solid following that is growing daily. Dre The Great hopes to inspire a legacy as the icons Jay-Z and Master P by building a movement using his motivational music to uplift the average person. To that end, he has made his project, “The Missing Link” available on all streaming platforms. Recorded in 2017, the project saw an official drop to the public ear in 2020 and tells a tale that will give listeners an amazing thematic experience. It’s a blend of soul, lyrical versatility, and melodies over hypnotic productions. The motivational street inspired music follows the tale of a rapper now post-adolescence, trying to find musical success but succumbs to the vices of the streets to make ends meet. Dre The Great dissects every beat masterfully, piecing together a solid project that ultimately impresses upon listeners the reason why he is the missing link in hip hop.

It’s been a while since an artist with this much soul and talent hit the airwaves, so soak up his presence and stream his project, “The Missing Link” to connect with his work.
