Rick Ross Mocks Lloyd Banks Amid 50 Cent Rivalry

Lloyd Banks is being dragged into Rick Ross’ rivalry with 50 Cent.

Earlier this month, Rozay scored a legal victory against the “Power” mogul after a judge dismissed the five-year-old case involving Ross’ unauthorized remix to “In Da Club.”

Now Ross is reacting to his win. Taking to his Instagram Story, the Maybach Music mogul shared video of himself drinking champagne while listening to Lloyd Banks’ 2004 hit “I’m So Fly.” He even tagged 50 Cent in one slide.

Ross also took a shot at Banks, who was once a member of G-Unit, by questioning his finances. “Banks, you still got some money?” he asked. “Show us what you livin’ like. If you ain’t got no money, I’ll give you five grand for the Banks name.”

Added Ross, “That might be one of my alias, Danks Sinatra, Dank!”

Ross then suggested a name for Banks’ next album, Victim of Circumstance, seemingly inspired by his relationship with 50.

In 2015, 50 sued his rival for remixing his hit “In Da Club” for Ross’ Renzel Remixes mixtape. He was seeking upwards of $2 million from Rozay for using the beat without his permission, but the court ruled that 50 didn’t have the right to personally sue the Teflon Don since he didn’t own copyright to the song.

Ross is now readying his 11th studio album Richer Than I’ve Ever Been featuring the single “Pinned to the Cross.”
