After releasing two albums, “WE DON’T TRUST YOU” and “WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU,” within a few weeks, Future and Metro Boomin are set to embark on the “We Trust You Tour” this summer. The 27-date North American tour will begin on July 30 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, and will conclude in Vancouver, British Columbia at the Rogers Arena on Sept. 9.
The tour comes after Drake’s relentless trolling of Metro Boomin, which began when the rapper shared a video of an entire drum line performing outside of Magic City in Atlanta[1][5]. The gag appears to be a direct shot at Metro Boomin, as Drake plays on a specific line aimed at the producer on his recent leaked diss track, “Push Ups (Drop and Give Me 50)”[1].
The drama between Drake and Metro Boomin began after artists like Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd used Future and Metro’s back-to-back albums, “WE DON’T TRUST YOU” and “WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU,” as platforms to send lyrical shots at Drizzy[1]. It is now being assumed by many that Champagne Papi is going in particularly hard on Metro Boomin due to speculation surrounding recently uncovered evidence that Drake didn’t write his lyrics to the “Jumbotron St Poppin”[1].

Despite the drama, “WE DON’T TRUST YOU” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, largely thanks to “Like That” featuring Kendrick Lamar, which topped the Hot 100[1]. The LP notably amassed 59.6 million streams and 5.6 million radio airplay audience impressions[1].
Ticket sales for Cash App Card holders begin on Wednesday (April 17), while the general public can purchase tickets starting Friday (April 19) at 10 a.m. local time through the Live Nation website[1]. VIP packages offering a photo opportunity in front of the stage, access to a VIP lounge, a gift item, and other perks will be available[1].
WE DON’T TRUST YOU came out on March 22 with a whopping 17 tracks, boasting contributions from The Weeknd, Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, and Rick Ross, among others[1]. The album’s success can be attributed to “just great music and embrace from you all,” Metro shared on Twitter[1].
Metro and Future’s follow-up, WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU, hit streaming platforms last Friday (April 12) and totaled 25 songs with features from ASAP Rocky, Lil Baby, J. Cole, Ty Dolla Sign, and more[1]. Standout cuts included “Red Leather,” “Luv Bad B**ches,” and “Show of Hands.”
