The Washington, D.C artist Keph Swag was heavy on the grind the entire 2020, and the Swag Lingo mixtape was the starting point of everything to come. The lead single Won’t Stop got the Swag Mobb fans amped-up with excitement, but that was only the beginning of his win streak.
His Black Lives Matter inspired track Stay Together aired on the local news (DMV Sound Check) following a sit-down interview with the young artist. The coverage was a great look for Keph and allowed his listeners to hear another side of his musical versatility.
If that wasn’t enough, he also decided to take full control of his music by starting an independent record label of his own, Swag Mobb Entertainment. The first single released on SME is a solo track titled Young Rich Gangsta, available on all streaming platforms as of mid-December.
With plenty of accomplishments to be thankful for this year, the future looks brighter than ever for the young phenom. On that note, we would like to congratulate Keph Swag on becoming Raptology’s 2020 Artist of the Year.
For booking info, features, and other business inquiries, contact the label at @swagmobbent. To stay up-to-date with music-related news, you can follow him @kephswag.
Borey Bills is a Hip-Hop artist/entrepreneur raised in Harlem, New York. Ever since a young teen, his love for creating music drove his ambition forward with each written verse. Early in his career, he started off rapping in a group called 3Deep and later moved on to Hoodrich/H&R Blok with fellow members Nino Man and Flowboy Vegas. All though still affiliated with both, Borey views himself more as a stand-alone artist today.
His most recent EP “Only Way Out” was released late 2018 on all major streaming platforms.
Since then, it’s been nonstop work for Borey and his team. Dropping close to a dozen new tracks on Soundcloud and three music videos (shot by BenjiFilmz) on Youtube, 2019 was a very productive year for the Harlem emcee.
Not stopping at just music and knowing the importance of branding, he also launched his very own website and clothing line. But Lead By Example is not just a brand; it’s an everyday mentality meant to inspire others to do better. Be sure to check it out at http://boreybills.com.
Sharing the same name as his clothing line, his next project Lead By Example is set for release sometime in 2020. With a few surprise features lined up and over 20 songs completed, Borey’s determined to show the people, hard work does indeed pay off over time.

A special thank you to all the artists who took part in the first annual Raptology feature contest. We wish you all the best in 2020 as you continue moving the Hip-Hop culture forward.
