DaBaby’s Encounter with an Overzealous Fan: A Closer Look

On Sunday, April 7, a video of DaBaby’s encounter with an older female fan at a gas station went viral. The “Rockstar” rapper was sitting in his car when the fan approached, excited to see him. After taking a selfie with him, she sat on his lap and made inappropriate comments. When she left, DaBaby expressed his discomfort, saying, “She sexually assaulted me, boy, let’s go.”

The video sparked a range of reactions from fans, with some joking about the situation and others expressing concern for DaBaby’s well-being. The incident comes after DaBaby announced that he was quitting alcohol following an embarrassing experience with his daughter.

In the same video, DaBaby also issued a stern warning, stating that he would steal from anyone who offered him a drink from that point forward. The rapper’s warning highlights his commitment to staying sober and avoiding any potential temptations.

Meanwhile, Joe Budden has criticized J. Cole’s response to Kendrick Lamar’s diss track, calling it “narcoleptic-sounding” and expressing his desire for Cole to sound more alive. Budden’s comments come after weeks of anticipation for a response from Drake and Cole to Lamar’s brutal verse on “Like That.”

Despite the mixed reactions to DaBaby’s video and Budden’s criticism of Cole’s response, both incidents have sparked conversations within the hip-hop community about boundaries, respect, and artistic expression.
