“The Curious Case of Tim Falkow” the last single of the Spanish Msb El Nino de la Pili with rock and trap references

It is not necessary to welcome him, nor to introduce who he is; The Spanish artist Msb or Mario released his new single “The Curious Case of Tim Falkow” on YouTube last week with a futuristic beat and a voice that for those of us who already know him, we missed; With his song “Blanko” last year he left us wanting to hear that deep and torn voice again. Exactly a year later, he has brought it out again, and yes, it has been long wait but it has been worth it. We cannot speak about this single without taking into account that Msb is an independent artist, we add merit to all this, and that is that “Tim Falkow” had been linked three weeks before his release in a way intentional through different social networks, and that is what the Spanish artist “Nino de la Pili” wanted, give everyone what they were looking for; but nothing could be further from the truth, everything turned out to be another game with which this Spanish singer engages people without stopping.

“The Curious Case of Tim Falkow” the last single of the Spanish Msb El Nino de la Pili with rock and trap references

If we focus on the sound, “The Curious Case of Tim Falkow” it can be close to trap but its continuous futuristic melody also brings to mind that techno or electronic music that stays in your head and you have on loop all day. Then the pronounced kicks with the details make the rest of the combination that impacts the naked eye but that Msb’s voice takes care of wrapping everything in an addictive concept. And it is that broken and deep voice makes references to rock or punk rock from the nineties comes to mind. For this reason, we don’t really know how to label the song, but given the growth of the hyperpop sound on the scene, we could say that rock also deserves a “hyper” and we believe that this song would be the perfect one for it. The guitars could be Mario’s adlibs that aren’t even words, but take advantage of intentional sighs or laughter to continue the speed that the beat already gives. To highlight, we are left with the part at the end where the Spanish artist makes a second high-pitched voice that breaks with the depth of the main vocal and makes us want to listen this single again without stopping. To finish, the video unites all the factors to make the product a perfect package: The colors fit from beginning to end and the darkness is broken by that blue light that falls from the ceiling. The camera movements that perfectly follow the natural essence of Msb with a metallic setting that with the blue impact enough, also as if that were not enough, the visual work is supported by enigmatic designs of a dog in different rooms. Just Msb; We can never fully understand Mario but it’s always fun to try, and this time it certainly was.
