Kodak Black has been putting in work.
Just two months after his release from prison, the prolific rapper has reportedly recorded over 160 songs, which breaks down to roughly three songs per day.
His engineer, Derek “Dyryk” Garcia, took to Instagram to reveal that Kodak has completed 167 songs in the two months since Donald Trump commuted his sentence on Jan. 20.
“167 records in two months,” wrote Dyryk. “These other rappers nervous.”
Kodak Black previewed one of those songs, titled “Drive the Boat,” earlier in the month. On the track, he raps about Megan Thee Stallion after claiming she stole his catchphrase.
In the days following his prison release, Kodak released a series of singles including “Last Day In” and “Every Balmain,” plus collaborations with YNW Melly (“Thugged Out”) and Lil Yachty (“Hit Bout It”).
Kodak, who reportedly got engaged to Mellow Rackz, has recently gone MIA on social media. He deactivated both his Instagram and Twitter accounts, but it’s unclear why.
