Lil Durk is feeling at the top of his game.
Fresh off the release of his new album 7220, the Chicago rapper paid a visit to the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast where he made a bold declaration.
During the interview, the Chicago rapper reflected on his journey since their last conversation, where he stated that he wanted to be “bigger than Drake,” but he wasn’t quite there yet.
However, he’s come a long way since then. “To us, in this motherfu**er, we bigger than [Drake], you know what I’m sayin’?” Durk proudly said when asked if he’s achieved his goal.
“We touch people a lot,” he explained. “Drake’s at a rate where it’s like, he can stay in the fu**ing house if he want to. But nah, shout out to him. He touched the youth.”
He also acknowledged his “Laugh Now Cry Later” collaborator for elevating his star. “That’s one thing about him. He touched us and got us hotter than what the f**k we was, but a lot of people can’t say that,” he added. “A lot of these mothafu**as don’t even know him, but a lot of people he talk to don’t me know. Like, that’s just what it is.”
On Friday, Durk dropped 7220 featuring appearances from Future, Summer Walker, Gunna, and Morgan Wallen.
