Southside is coming for Lil Uzi Vert.
Following a heated argument between Uzi and Yung Miami on Instagram Live on Thursday night (April 1), the producer rushed to his girlfriend’s defense, slamming the “XO Tour Llif3” rapper for disrespecting the mother of his child.
“I promise you I’ma punch your teeth out your mouth. Don’t say nothing else to my bitch. If you don’t like my bitch, don’t like my bitch…We don’t get in they problems,” said the 808 Mafia member. “Stay the little weirdo you is, ni**a. Keep rocking purses, keep doing that bitch shit you doing. I ain’t with none of that playin’, bro. None of that, none of that playin’.”
During his livestream, Southside also alleged that he stepped in to help Uzi from being robbed by Offset. “I’m the same ni**a that saved you from getting robbed from Offset and them, ni**a, don’t forget that,” he revealed. “I’m the same ni**a in the studio that had blicks on me, ni**a. I’m the same ni**a that kept you from getting your jewelry took. Stop playin’ dumb with me.”
Earlier in the evening, Uzi exchanged words with Yung Miami, born Caresha Brownlee, over Instagram Live. “Caresha, it ain’t even about that though ’cause you know me, I ain’t ever gotta see you like you don’t ever gotta see me,” he said.
“Me and you not friends and we don’t have to be friends,” replied Miami before her fellow City Girl and Uzi’s girlfriend, JT, tried to interject and end the Live.
Uzi later took to Twitter to defend himself amid the backlash. “Lol don’t talk to caresha like dat,” wrote one fan, to which he responded, “That’s my gf best friend I was playing with her she always curse me out.”
Uzi and Yung Miami have had a tumultuous relationship since Uzi started dating JT. “Ever since Uzi cussed me out I don’t play with him,” Yung Miami said on IG Live last month. “Uzi cleared me bitch. He said, ‘Bitch I don’t know you.’ And I said ‘OK.’”
