As the decade comes to a close, Billboard has revealed its top R&B/hip-hop artists of the 2010s, starting with Drake.
The Certified Lover Boy dominated the decade with a whopping 40 top 10 hits, seven of which reached No. 1. He also holds the record for most entries ever on the Billboard Hot 100 with 208.
He was followed by the unstoppable Rihanna, who released nine No. 1 Hot 100 hits this decade including âRude Boy,â âWhatâs My Name,â âWe Found Love,â and âDiamonds,â as well as her Eminem collaborations, âLove the Way You Lieâ and âMonster.â
Chris Brown comes in third. The R&B superstar owned the charts with hits like âLook at Me Nowâ with Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, âNo Guidanceâ featuring Drake, and âLoyalâ with Lil Wayne and French Montana. Breezyâs decade-end stats include three No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 and the eighth-most Hot 100 hits of all time with 96.
Nicki Minaj extends her reign as the queen of rap, with 17 top 10 hits on the Hot 100 and the most Hot 100 hits among women (105). Her biggest Hot 100 hits of the 2010s are âSuper Bass,â âStarships,â âBang Bangâ with Jessie J and Ariana Grande, and âSide to Sideâ with Grande.
Post Malone places fifth, thanks to two No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 and four No. 1 hits on the Hot 100 including âSunflowerâ with Swae Lee, âRockstarâ with 21 Savage, and âWow.â âSunflowerâ also ties the record for most weeks spent in the Hot 100âs top 10 (33).
In sixth place is The Weeknd, who earned three No. 1 hits on the Hot 100 and three No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 including âThe Hills,â âCanât Feel My Face,â âStarboy,â and âEarned It.â
