Raptology Music Video Submissions
Put your video in front of the culture.
Raptology is accepting independent rap and hip-hop music videos for free editorial consideration on the Raptology YouTube channel. We look for compelling records, strong visuals, and artists with a story to tell.
No submission fee. Submitting does not guarantee selection or publication.
A curated channel
Every submission is reviewed by the Raptology team. The channel is curated, and we cannot feature every video we receive. Selection depends on editorial fit, video quality, rights clearance, and the channel’s programming.
Free to submit
There is currently no fee to submit a music video for consideration. Raptology does not promise a particular release date, number of views, audience response, playlist placement, or other result.
What to send
Use the email button above and include the following information:
- Artist or group name and the song title
- A private or public link to the finished music video, preferably in HD
- A downloadable video file or a link that allows Raptology to download it, if available
- Your name, role, and email address, plus the name and contact information of any label or representative involved
- Links to the artist’s website and social accounts
- Producer, director, featured artist, and other relevant credits
- Written confirmation that you control the rights or have permission for the video and everything included in it
Please do not send files you do not have permission to share. A video being online already, or an artist appearing in it, does not automatically mean you have the rights needed for another channel to upload it.
How review works
- Send your submission. Include the requested details and rights confirmation.
- Editorial review. Raptology may review the music, video, presentation, and rights information.
- We contact selected submissions. If we want to move forward, we will confirm the next steps and requested permissions in writing.
- Upload only after written approval. Do not assume that sending a link or file gives Raptology permission to publish it.
Submission terms and rights confirmation
By submitting a video, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that a parent or legal guardian is submitting on your behalf. You also confirm that you are authorized to submit the video and to communicate with Raptology about it.
Rights you must control or clear
Before Raptology can consider uploading a video, you must own or have written permission covering all material and uses involved. This may include the video recording, the sound recording, the musical composition and lyrics, beats, samples, featured performances, visual footage, artwork, and any other protected material. You are responsible for obtaining permission from co-writers, producers, labels, publishers, beat makers, performers, video owners, and other rightsholders as applicable.
Permission for selected videos
Sending a submission does not give Raptology a license to publish it. If Raptology selects your video, we will ask you to confirm permission in writing before uploading. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, that permission will be non-exclusive and limited to allowing Raptology to host and display the selected video on its YouTube channel, and to promote the feature on Raptology’s website and social media using the video, an excerpt, a thumbnail, title, artist name, and supplied credits. You keep ownership of your work.
The permission does not include a right for Raptology to sell or license your video, transfer ownership, or monetize it. Any monetization or broader use would require separate written permission. YouTube may apply its own copyright systems and platform terms, and Raptology cannot guarantee that a video will be free from claims, restrictions, or other platform actions.
Editorial discretion and removal
Raptology may decline, delay, or remove a submission or published video at its discretion, including when rights are unclear, a claim is received, or the content no longer fits editorial standards. If you believe a Raptology upload uses your work without authorization, contact info@raptology.com with the video link, a description of the material, your relationship to the rights, and a way to reach you. This contact method is for resolving concerns and is not a substitute for any legally required formal notice.
Accuracy and responsibility
You agree to provide accurate information and to promptly tell Raptology if your rights or permission change. You are responsible for claims arising from rights or permissions you did not have authority to grant, subject to applicable law. Nothing on this page waives rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
These terms explain the intended submission process and are not a guarantee against copyright claims or legal liability. Raptology should have the final terms reviewed by a qualified attorney before launch, especially if it plans to upload videos regularly or enable monetization.
