Ciara and Russell Wilson’s Daughter Steals Spotlight Trolling Dad’s Singing

Ciara and her daughter Sienna recently shared a hilarious moment in a new Billboard interview that is sure to entertain fans. During the sit-down, the elementary-aged Sienna playfully criticized her dad, New York Giants star Russell Wilson’s singing abilities. When asked if she would want to collaborate with her dad on music, Sienna quickly responded, “No. No, thank you. Dad is crazy. He sings a little off. Seriously, I’m telling the truth.” She then went on to humorously imitate Wilson’s less-than-pitch-perfect vocals, much to Ciara’s surprise and amusement.

Ciara joked that Russell should stick to football while she handles the music. “Would I make a song with Dad? So, I think it is best that Dad plays football and Mommy does music,” she said, with Sienna agreeing and adding, “Yes. Great idea. No offense, Dad!” Although Wilson might not be hitting the studio anytime soon, he did inspire one of Ciara’s upcoming songs titled “Blessed” on her forthcoming album CiCi.

The new album, CiCi, marks Ciara’s eighth studio project and is set to release on August 22. Work on the 14-track album began during the COVID-19 pandemic and followed an EP of the same name released in 2023, which included the hit “How We Roll” featuring Chris Brown. The album will also feature the dance track “Ecstasy” and collaborations with producers and artists such as Jazze Pha, Bossman DLow, Busta Rhymes, and a teased appearance from rapper Latto.

Ciara described the album as a gift to her fans, saying, “Those amazing people have… all my fans [have] supported me for so long, and I just want to say thank you to them for supporting me. So, that’s what this project is really about for me… It’s a gift of appreciation.” As Ciara prepares to drop new music and entertain fans with family moments, her daughter Sienna is already proving to be a star in her own right, bringing fun and laughter to this new chapter in their lives.
