The earlier deluxe editions included tracks such as “Beep Beep (Remix)” featuring 50 Cent and “Love Me Enough” with Monica and Keyshia Cole, as well as “Press Play” with Future. The announcement of The Hiatus has sparked speculation among fans regarding Minaj’s future plans, particularly whether it signifies a break from her music career.
In October, during a Stationhead broadcast, Minaj hinted at taking time off for reflection but later clarified her stance on social media, stating, “Ain’t going no motherfkin’ where. Kiss my a and hiatus.” This playful contradiction has left fans wondering about her next moves.
The announcement also raises questions about the status of Pink Friday 3, which Minaj previously indicated would replace the third deluxe edition. After scrapping Pink Friday 2: Gag City Reloaded, she expressed her desire to honor the integrity of her work by not adding too many songs to the existing album.
