Wale and Pusha T have reunited for their new single, “Damage Control,” which marks their first collaboration in over a decade. Produced by Don Cannon, the track was released via Culture Jam, a creative collective founded by Eesean Bolden.
Hype for the single was amplified with help from NBA star Anthony Edwards, who teased the track in a group chat shared across social media, adding excitement and lending his endorsement to the release.
The single’s arrival comes as part of Culture Jam’s ongoing momentum, with “Damage Control” expected to appear on their upcoming project, Legend In My Hood, which will also feature recent tracks like “Late Bloomer.”
Wale and Pusha T’s collaboration is characterized by their distinct lyricism, set against Don Cannon’s production, and has been described as delivering unmatched intensity.
This release follows Pusha T’s return with Clipse’s comeback album, Let God Sort Em Out, featuring production by Pharrell Williams and guest spots from Kendrick Lamar. Clipse is scheduled to tour the new album starting in August. “Damage Control” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
