On September 25, Madame Tussauds unveiled a new wax figure of Rihanna, set to be displayed in London starting September 27. This figure captures her stunning look from the 2019 British Fashion Awards, featuring a custom mini dress from her Fenty line, matching gloves, and a choker necklace. The statue also showcases Rihanna’s medium-length Fulani braids and accessories like a semi-sheer wrap and earrings, although her partner A$AP Rocky was notably absent from the display.
Jo Kinsey, Studio Manager at Madame Tussauds London, praised Rihanna as a “powerhouse in beauty, fashion, and music,” emphasizing her significant impact on popular culture. Fans expressed their admiration for the wax figure in the comments, with many stating it looked remarkably like her. Comments included remarks such as “It looks like her” and “That’s so spot on!”
This new figure joins other recent representations of Rihanna at Madame Tussauds, including one inspired by her 2023 Super Bowl halftime performance. The museum will also feature wax figures of other celebrities like Beyoncé, Drake, and Post Malone in 2024.
In addition to her achievements in music, Rihanna has expanded her Fenty Beauty brand internationally and ventured into haircare while welcoming two children since her last album release.
