Chlöe Bailey is no stranger to breaking the internet, and she did it again on Tuesday, July 16, when she shared photos of her vibrant and dazzling outfit from the St. Lucia Carnival.
The photos show Chlöe wearing a costume featuring multi-colored feathers, a heart-shaped headdress, and an array of jewels. In the caption, she described herself as the “Queen of hearts at Carnival” and expressed her love for the annual celebration, calling it her “favorite time of year.”
Chlöe’s industry peers were quick to shower her with praise in the comments. Queen Naija complimented her look, saying “You look GOOD girl! && those buns are bangin’.” SZA described the outfit as “ASTOUNDING,” while Tinashe simply wrote “Wow.” Other artists like Shenseea, H.E.R., Halle Bailey, and Muni Long also showed their support for Chlöe’s stunning carnival attire.
This was not the first time Chlöe has attended the St. Lucia Carnival. In July 2023, she wore another vibrant, color-packed costume and described the experience as “so liberating.” She has also spoken about the disapproval she sometimes faces for celebrating her body, telling NYLON magazine, “I don’t know why celebrating yourself is so taboo…We all have an a**. We all have privates, titties. I don’t get the hoopla.”
Chlöe is currently gearing up to release her sophomore album, “Trouble in Paradise,” which is described as a “coming-of-age celebration of being a woman and having fun, not taking life too seriously.” She has already shared singles like “FYS” and “Boy Bye” in the lead-up to the album’s release later this year.
