JT, one half of the rap duo City Girls, has been making waves as a solo artist. Her track “OKAY” recently charted on the Billboard Hot 100, and she has now released an extended version of the song. In the new verse, JT appears to respond to fellow rapper Sukihana, rapping about letting go of haters and claiming her status as a “City Cinderella.”
Sukihana’s recent song “COCAINE” included lyrics that seemingly diss JT, referencing her past legal troubles and a physical altercation with Lil Uzi Vert at the 2023 BET Awards. Sukihana also poked fun at JT’s appearance and accused her of being jealous of City Girls groupmate Yung Miami.
In April, a video surfaced online showing JT calling out a DJ who repeatedly asked her to twerk during a club appearance. JT asserted her identity as a lady and expressed discomfort with having her behind exposed on the internet, despite wearing a revealing dress.
As JT continues her solo career, she appears to be addressing her critics and asserting her confidence and success. The ongoing feud with Sukihana and JT’s response in her music suggest a continuation of the drama between the two artists.
