Young Thug is putting broke men on blast.
The YSL rapper went on Instagram Live last week to share his controversial views about men having children without the means to support them. According to Thug, there should be rules against reproducing unless you’re financially fit.
“God need to set some rules, bruh, we need new rules,” he said, according to Complex. “We need a new oath, bruh. If you dead broke, if you a broke-ass ni**a, you should not be able to nut.”
It’s unclear what inspired his rant, but Thug let it be known that he has no sympathy. “You bringing poor kids into this world and you making n***as rob and kill and steal ’cause you running around with no type of career, no nothing,” he continued. “Having kids, now your kids growing up wanting shit, your kids growing up looking at Thug and his game.”
According to Thug, the same goes for women who aspire to live lavishly despite their economic status. “When you ain’t got nothing, worth nothing, don’t have a future, your job don’t got nothing to do with what you went to school for, you got to adjust to whatever a ni**a do for you,” he said.
Added Thug, “You can’t want top-tier situations and you’re the bottom of the barrel… Bitches be dead ass broke wantin’ a Birkin. Bitch, where the hell you gon’ put the Birkin, in the Uber? Y’all hoes tryna go to step 10 from zero.”
In March, a suspect was arrested in connection with the murder of LaKevia Jackson, the mother of Thug’s 14-year-old son, Kyvion Jackson. The man allegedly shot and killed Jackson following a dispute at an Atlanta bowling alley.
Thug, who can be heard on Future’s new album I Never Liked You, has also been teasing new music. He recently shared the artwork for what appears to be a new project.
