Da Brat is living her happily ever after.
The rapper married her fiancée Jesseca “Judy” Dupart in a fairytale ceremony on 2/22/22.
According to PEOPLE, 100 guests were in attendance as the couple said “I do” at the Horse Mansion in Fairburn, Georgia, including Kandi Burruss, Eva Marcille, and Porsha Williams.
Brat, 47, and Dupart, 40, arrived in Cinderella-like horse-drawn carriages, both wearing dresses designed by Esé Azénabor. Groomsman Jermaine Dupri escorted Brat down the aisle, while Da Brat’s sister LisaRaye McCoy served as a bridesmaid.
Da Brat, born Shawntae Harris, gushed about her new wife. “Everything about her made me want her to be mine forever,” she said. “And I felt like I knew it not much longer than from the day we met.”
Their wedding date has special meaning. “We’ve been calling each other twin flames for a while. So this date, 2/22/22, is a significant event. We just didn’t want to miss it because it comes once in a lifetime,” Dupart explained. “It’s relevant. It’s just real significant to our relationship. It signifies angel numbers, and it also is reminiscent of twin flames.”
After the magical evening, the couple danced out of the reception, accompanied by the Treme Sidewalk Steppers Second Line Band, before driving off in a blue Bentley. The festivities will be documented on an upcoming episode of their WE tv reality series, “Brat Loves Judy.”
Brat, who didn’t publicly come out as gay until March 2020, credits Dupart for giving her the courage to live for herself. “She’s the person who completes me. She gives me courage,” she said. “She inspires me, and she makes me fearless. She makes me not afraid.”
The newlyweds will head to Turks and Caicos for their honeymoon before welcoming their first baby together.
