DaBaby is facing more criticism, this time over his latest song.
Over the weekend, the North Carolina rapper dropped “Sneaky Link Anthem,” which finds him trying out a more melodic sound. However, his attempt at R&B wasn’t well received by everyone. Social media roasted him, with many claiming he was too old to be rapping about a secret relationship.
After he became a trending topic, DaBaby appeared to respond to the backlash. Taking to his Instagram Story, he shared a clip of himself watching the “Sneaky Link Anthem” video on TV.
“They hate on me and it’s OK,” he said before shrugging.
But DaBaby is keeping it moving. On Tuesday, he released another song called “Couple Cubes of Ice.”
Meanwhile, his baby mama DaniLeigh revealed that she and their daughter tested positive for COVID-19. “My baby and I have COVID 😔 we’re ok and will be ok … appreciate prayers,” she tweeted. “Stay masked up and inside y’all..”
