Roddy Ricch is living the 90210 life.
The 23-year-old rapper, whose new album livelifefast arrives this month, has dropped $5.6 million on a mansion in the mountains above Beverly Hills. According to Dirt.com, the nearly one-acre compound sits at the end of a long, gated driveway shared with three other estates, and has parking for up to 10 cars.
The secluded 3,500-square-foot property was built around 1960 and has been renovated and expanded in recent years. There are two master bedrooms, one upstairs and one down, both with spa-like bathrooms and bespoke closets. There is also a gourmet kitchen with stone countertops, custom cabinetry, and stainless appliances, plus a media room with blackout shades and hardwood floors.
Additionally, there is a fully-detached guesthouse with a bathroom and kitchen that could be converted into a gym or music studio. Mature trees and lush greenery offer plenty of privacy on the Mulholland Drive estate, which borders the main residence of the late Eddie Van Halen. The outdoor area also includes a large pool and terraced gardens with a basketball court and grassy lawns.
The “Box” hitmaker is enjoying the fruits of his labor. During the pandemic in 2020, he made a reported $20 million. “I’ve made more this year than I have ever made in life–at home,” he told Forbes.
On Dec. 17, he will release his highly-anticipated sophomore album livelifefast.
“These few years I’ve been out the way weren’t the easiest but I always try to stay optimistic in all situations and keep a focused brain,” he told fans ahead of the project’s release. “Coming into the amounts of success and monetary gain while young is challenging but KINGS and QUEENS can be any age and still have to fight their battles.”
