Saweetie Drops New Single ‘Icy Chain’

Icy Season is here.

Ahead of her “SNL” debut tomorrow, Saweetie drops her new single “Icy Chain.” On the bossy anthem, which clocks in under two minutes, the ICY GRL shows no lack of confidence.

“I think I know why they mad at me / I’m pretty, I’m in every city, but won’t hit the club unless it’s a bag for me,” Saweetie boasts over the thumping bass line before the hook kicks in: “Twerk that ass for a icy chain.”

A video has been shot for “Icy Chain,” which is set to appear on Saweetie’s new project Icy Season, due this winter. She recently released “Get It Girl” as part of the soundtrack to Season 5 of HBO’s “Insecure.” She can also be heard on “Attitude” off the Halle Berry and Cardi B-produced Bruised soundtrack.

Tomorrow, Saweetie will perform “Icy Chain” and “Get It Girl” for the first time on “Saturday Night Live.”
