Mia Jaye is mourning the death of Young Dolph.
A day after the rapper was shot and killed in Memphis, Young Dolph’s longtime partner and father of her kids shared a touching tribute on Instagram Stories.
“God give me strength… Adolph I love you with all my heart and soul,” she wrote before thanking Dolph’s supporters for their well wishes in the wake of the tragedy.
“Thank you to everyone for all of your prayers, love, support, calls, messages… I may not see them all but when my eyes are not full of tears, I catch a few,” said an emotional Mia. “Nonetheless, all the genuine positive vibes, energy and prayers are welcome… because Lord knows I need them…”
In another heartbreaking post, Mia shared a video of Dolph exercising with their daughter. The couple shared two children.
“Question is… How am I going to tell my babies that daddy is never coming home?” she wrote in her caption.
Dolph was gunned down in his hometown of Memphis on Tuesday. Police are investigating and have released images of the two gunmen who opened fire through the window of Makeda’s Bakery.
The cookie shop, which Dolph frequented, has set up a GoFundMe page to help repair their small business and pay their staff. So far, they have raised $45,000 of their $150,000 goal.
“We Love You Dolph! And we’re just thankful you chose us everytime you were in town,” Makeda’s wrote on Instagram. “The City lost a real one and we’ll never forget you brother… Now Stream his music FOR LIFE! HE OWNED ALL OF HIS MASTERS…”
