Drake got a visit from an unwanted guest who ended up in custody.
Toronto police tell TMZ that officers responded to a call around 5 p.m. on Tuesday (March 30) and apprehended a woman who was attempting to make her way onto Drake’s sprawling property.
The suspect was taken into custody after being found near the 50,000-square-foot estate, dubbed The Embassy.
Police are still investigating the incident, but there were no reported injuries. Drake was reportedly home at the time, but the woman did not make it near the inside or have any contact with him.
There were reports that the woman was armed with a knife and tried to enter the property using a metal pipe to attack one of his security guards. However, Toronto police say that is not true.
Drake’s Toronto mansion has been featured in his video for “Toosie Slide” as well as on the cover of Architectural Digest. The mansion, built-in 2019 and designed by Canadian architect Ferris Rafauli, boasts extravagant amenities including an NBA regulation-size indoor basketball court, 3,200-square-foot master bedroom suite, indoor swimming pool, and recording studio.
