Inspired by real life events, Trard creates music authentic to himself and the experiences that made him into who he is.
Miami, Florida native, Trard is a product of the rich musical and creative history of the city in lights. With music in his family lineage through his dad renowned as a DJ, Trard became infatuated with music at a young age. It was only a matter of time before it impacted him on a personal level, motivating him to adopt the alias, “Trod” with eyes set on a music career. Eventually, he would change his name to “Trard” and turned his focus to developing his craft.
Old school music was his first love before present-day icons like Future joined his list of influences. Needless to say, Trard had the advantage of past and modern knowledge of the craft, giving birth to his unique contemporary R&B sound. His music became a sensation to fans for its authenticity and emotion that connected with their everyday lives.
As he charted his way forward in the industry, Trard shed the hesitation of the spotlight, ready to make his name known on radio stations and major streaming platforms. Learning the business and building quality connections, he is back on the mic to give fans the highly requested single, “Toxic.” Trard strips himself of any walls, digging into his past relationships and rough separations to give rise to a song not only personal to him but one relatable to listeners of any background. Released with an equally emotional music video, the new single revolves around relationships and breakups due to the toxic actions of infidelity.
