Talent is a gift. For some, it comes naturally. Others work hard to mold it. Anaimane, is in the former.
Born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco, Anaimane was at the time unaware of the large shoes she would grow to fill in years to come. Many prodigies come from a family of musical talent, and for Anaimane, this was the foundation of her rise to stardom. Studied in the art of music theory and classical piano, Anaimane came off the starting point running by educating herself on core principles of musical structure and sound.
Many claim to hold love for music, but few are as passionate about diversity as she was. This gave her view and perception of music an edge by the time she migrated to Montreal, Canada with her family at the young age of 13. From there, there was no stopping the future she was destined for.
Upon moving to Canada, Anaimane would continue growing as a musician and artist. Eventually, her determination and consistency opened the opportunity for the young prodigy to propel her musical career further. After a performance at the annual Miss Afrique Montreal pageant, she would catch the eye of CBC music journalist, Duke Eatmon. Their encounter would ignite the already burning fire inside of Anaimane, solidifying her resolve to establish a reputable music career.
In 2019, she would take her talents to the next level, expanding her repertoire in songwriting and producing, not only in conjunction with high list Quebec musicians but with U.S. producers as well. Her legacy in the music industry began taking shape, and with it, her notoriety grew.
In 2020, Anaimane set her sights on the artist spotlight with the release of her debut single, “Uninvited,” which she co-wrote. The song, produced by Poppycow Escobar, Alvin Anthony and Voyce Official was a hit, finding its place on national Canadian radio network, CBC Radio One 88.5 FM, and is becoming a familiar sound on the airwaves in the region. Sure enough, this caught the attention of listeners that could take her career up the charts. Anaimane would go on to signing a distribution arrangement with Spinnup Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group.
Anaimane aims to leave her mark in the music industry just as those she looks up to. With influencers like Prince, Doja Cat, The Weeknd, Dalida, Michael Jackson, and Madonna, her intentions are the pinnacle of musical goals. The singer-songwriter, producer, and raising artist holds high ambitions and has a knack for making exceptional music. This, along with her captivating voice, will be sure to shine on her debut album currently being crafted.
