“Working by myself, I’m able to have full creative control over concepts. And I love proving to myself that I’m capable of perfecting these skills, but I can only do so much by myself,” she says.
That balance between independence and collaboration has helped shape her recent work. Producer LURV produced both of her singles “OHh!” and “ABS_NT,” while ZieM, one of her professors, helped teach her how to mix and master, adding another technical layer to her creative foundation.
ElaToria has also begun crossing into film. With help from her friend Ajani, who filmed and edited the promo for “ABS_NT” and is also one of the singers featured on the record, she expanded the song into a broader visual experience.
