Mitt Picasso Releases Lead Single “Demons” Along With New EP, “DESTINY” Featured - Raptology: Rap News - Rap Music - Rap Contests

Putting on for his country, Tanzania, Mitt Picasso drops off his single “Demons” and his highly anticipated EP, “DESTINY.”

Born and raised in the East African city of Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania, Mussa Jeylani Mussa moved to the US state of Michigan in 2005 at the age of 9 where he braved the rough environment of the streets. Delving into athletics to keep from falling victim to the vices around him, music in time became a focal point of his dreams.

Under the stage name, Mitt Picasso which translates to “Michigan’s greatest artist,” he began his quest for greatness. Attributed to his ability to speak in 3 different languages, his music was cultured and diverse in its sound. Influenced by talented icons like Drake, Roy Woods and most notably, Tory Lanez, his taste in music was even more versatile. Mitt Picasso went on to build a loyal fanbase before launching his very own record label, THE CHOSEN ONE, which increased his worth as an independent artist.

Under his imprint, Mitt Picasso released his debut EP, “DESTINY” on July 7^th, 2022, led by the single, “Demons.” The body of work is composed with tracks ranging in various subject matter recorded with his melodic flows and ear catching lyrical delivery. With his name and status gaining more buzz with the release of his debut project, Mitt Picasso is creating his vision of being one of the pioneers of Tanzania in the music industry. When it comes to the level of success of his career, he is one of few breaking into the category of Tanzania artists making great American music with vivid storytelling about his life and experiences as an American.
