The St. Paul, Minnesota born rhymer Paydro Pesos is the musical genius residing in Oakland, CA. His upbringing by his single black mother wasn’t the easiest, but she stood ten toes down so he could have a future unlike many that fell victim to the streets that Paydro Pesos was accustomed to.
Paydro Pesos was determined not to become another statistic and used music to express the life experiences that made him. His passion for hip hop pushed his grind while gaining inspiration from established artists like Mozzy, Morray, Millyz, Blxst, Jay Rock, Est Gee, and Ace Hood among others. Repetition brought him closer to perfection, becoming an artist that helped shape the culture of the music industry. His skill set as a writer and lyricist was enlisted even by Usher Raymond’s record label, US Records, to assist in song arrangements for some of his artists.
That is only the tip of the iceberg, Paydro Pesos, collaborated with some of music’s biggest names and Grammy winners, along with opening for hip hop goats like Akon, Young Jeezy, Young Buck, T.I., Nelly and Wiz Khalifa. These accomplishments as an independent artist were near unheard of, but Paydro Pesos’ talent spoke for itself. His hard work would bring him into the corridor of his dreams, being signed to FAIM Entertainment Group owned by CMG of The Conscious Daughters. Inking the new deal, he is gearing up for his debut album, “God’s Time” in July 2022 after the success of his singles “Amex Club,” “Meal Ticket,” “Mud,” and “Birth of a Legend.”
