Actress Lunden De’Leon (We’re the Millers, Sweet Home Carolina) has joined the cast of the urban film “Super Turnt”, the sequel to the hit film “Turnt”.
Shooting in Atlanta, “Super Turnt” is a coming of age film centered around a street lord named Rilla who is released from prison and finds his immediate world has changed. “Super Turnt” is directed by Mann Robinson (BET’s Troubled Waters).
The film also stars Harry Lennix (The Five Heartbeats), Jamal Woolard (Notorious), E. Roger Mitchell (The Walking Dead), Duane Finley (The Wood) and Rapper Scarface.
Best known for her role as Joanne Mbutu on the hit television series “Vital Signs”, Lunden De’Leon has starred and costarred in over 50 movies and television shows including the Netflix film “Blackbear”, the Hallmark feel-good movie “Sweet Home Carolina”, the legal drama “Pure Justice”, in which she received a best actress nomination and the blockbuster comedy “We’re the Millers”.
“Super Turnt” is scheduled for release in 2021. The original film “Turnt” is now available on Amazon Prime.
