What up gang. Back with the real you know what’s the deal. First off, RIP to all those mentioned in these lyrics that lost their lives. Second, I’m going to tell anyone who cannot handle violence or seeing and hearing about gruesome deaths…well you might want to learn how to because this is a video you don’t want to miss. Creating this vid I realized how grimey the Bronx is. These dudes are rapping about murders like it was nothing. I found some actual rare footage of instances that happened so brace yourselves. Other channels simply state the lyrics, but I’ve got news stories to give in depth detail. Let’s chop it up and break it down.
The first drill lyrics that actually happened references an incident mentioned in the video I did on Kay Flock The Driller (check it out if you haven’t as yet, I’ll link in the descriptions). In the song “Flocking 4 Bro” by CHII WVTTZ and SWERVO FLOCCA, CHII WVTTZ drops the bars “Rah got clapped he got put on a T-Shirt, bro got sent to the moon like DreamWorks.” https://youtu.be/YXtR1_y9HJE (1:00-1:04) Kay Flock also referenced sending shots behind Rah in an earlier attempted hit on his track “What Yall Wanna Do” with C Blu https://youtu.be/q8_sZvyMFAM (2:00-2:08) “Rah Rah saw me he ain’t let it clap, ask him how much I threw back. I’m a demon I like to react/Spin through the Bronx, tryna catch us a pack, Two shots gon’ make him collapse.”
Ramon Gil-Medrano aka Rah Gzz is the YGz affiliate that got dealt a gruesome fate.
Just a week before he was shot up, he posted a video online directed at the SevSide savage, Kay Flock, telling him to pop out cause he’s outside and ready for smoke. Sadly, he did get smoked while sitting in the back of an Uber to head to a recording studio. Two dudes pulled up on a scooter and sent shots through his head and chest https://worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video-c.php?v=wshhZxwAM7V5Uk1oEZMW Rah Gzz never saw it coming, it was like watching a mans soul leave his body how his body reacted to the shots https://youtu.be/kJcFH68kyqs (0:50-1:05) https://youtu.be/SyTWsWcTsaA (0:50-1:10)
Next, we got lyrics from Kay Flock himself in his song “War” with KD https://youtu.be/Cz2Q-mgdsh4 (1:46-1:52) where he says “you ran on Woo Lotti, get back.” And then mentions the Woo Lotti murking again on his song “What Yall Wanna Do” with C BLU https://youtu.be/q8_sZvyMFAM (1:53-
“pussy ran and he tripped out his shoes/spin through the hill like what yall wanna do.” This incident was one to twist your stomach. Woo Lotti was another member of the YGz close to Kay Flock’s cousin and opp DThang
Woo Lotti was caught lacking and poked up https://youtu.be/SaEtgiPqx58 (6:26-6:40) Word is that Woo Lotti and some other YGz were in Harlem chilling when a whip pulled up and their opps hopped out armed with knives. Woo Lotti and his homies dipped but Lotti tripped and fell, and they did a number on bro. Lotti was poked up so many times his chances of making it were slim. I found the video of when they ran down Lotti and he fell and they began putting that work in https://youtu.be/DUo2OZfH2wg I don’t even want to imagine his thoughts as he felt those stabs and seen dudes knifing him up https://youtu.be/KZ2O4V1w1A0 (0:18-0:24)
The next incident was mentioned in the bars “Opps see me they run, Ty Benji got smoked with a gun” on the track “Glah Glah” by Sha Gz and Tay Breesh https://youtu.be/Lx873GTac7o (1:28-1:30) According to police reports, Ty Benji was in the backseat of a livery cab near the corner of E. 163rd St. and Tinton Ave. in Foxhurst just two blocks from where he lived, when a white BMW rolled up and started yelling his direction. Someone in the BMW pulled out the blicky and opened fire, head-shotting TY before skrt’n off. TY would be rushed to Lincoln Medical Center, where he succumbed to his wounds four days later https://youtu.be/y0xS05lmbNI
The streets don’t give a damn about gender. This next one is just sad because it seems she was did dirty by her own friends. The victim, Dalila https://youtu.be/pkasuB8XplA (5:25-5:45)
In the track “D&D” by Sha EK Featuring Blockwork https://youtu.be/oU7e-M_fYQo (1:36-1:44) Sha EK came through sliding on the beat with the lyrics “there’s a whole lot of opps I can smoke, but I rather just smoke on Dalila.” Just the fact that she’s a female, it just hit different, like damn, they really don’t play. The lyrics tell the tale of her end, in what authorities call a dingy, abandoned apartment just 10 blocks from where she grew up. She was critically injured with a headshot in an empty third-floor apartment on Hull Ave. in Norwood and passed away at Jacobi Medical Center https://youtu.be/NEl4bI0TZ9Q
Police reports state that, several people, all believed to be Blood members, left the building after the shooting and a gun was tossed out a window. Reports also state that the apartment was a known hang out for gang members and Dalila was an associate of theirs.
According to authorities, turns out Dalila was living that lifestyle. She was arrested six times, including three incidents where she was charged with assault and her most recent being on Dec. 2, 2020, when cops charged her with aggravated harassment for threatening a woman and her children.
What’s more sad about her case is that her mother believes that it was her own friends that murked her https://youtu.be/NEl4bI0TZ9Q (0:52-1:03) But truth is, these incidents and all these videos I put together show more and more there isn’t any friends in that lifestyle. It’s a cold-blooded game.
You’d think that the events these lyrics are based on couldn’t get any more chilling…well these last two tops the list. In his track “Warzone” Yus Gz raps the lyrics “Noah got stomped like Smelly got poked.” https://youtu.be/4T_JHoAXJL0 (0:37-0:41) then again mentions Smelly’s stabbing in his track “DEAD LOCCS” with the lyrics “I know an opp that got poked in his belly, I’m talking bout Smelly” https://youtu.be/bPdDC-sbU0c (1:03-1:05) Side note, Yus Gz was close homies with fellow slain YGz member Rah Gzz https://youtu.be/HB2mdpR5bqo
The first person mentioned, Noah got his life taken one of the most horrible ways there is. He was literally stomped out until he lost his life. In April 2012, Moises “Noah Balla” Lora was the victim of a brutal assault. As the story goes, a group of YGz from Morris Ave, located across the street from Courtlandt and Patterson Houses
got into it about who was the most active in the streets. One thing led to the next and the end result was an argument which triggered their next decision; to go to Courtlandt ave and see who puts in the most work.
You heard me right. This generation of hood dudes don’t know how to act in these streets, it’s like they’re playing a real life game of GTA. But, they decided what they decided and head out in the middle of the night for the smoke. Sadly, the target they found was the small framed 16-year-old Noah Balla kicking it outside alone.
Sensing the danger, he tried to dip but was hunted down by what police reports say were 16 to 20 people and pummeled to death. Damn. The official cause of death was listed as blunt impact injuries to the head and neck.
One girl that was with him before everything played out, said when she got the call and arrived at scene Noah was laying on the floor with his head busted open.
I could only hope he went unconscious early in the beatdown and didn’t have to experience the pain of enduring all that trauma till he passed https://youtu.be/ByITwQpxjco
And here we are, down to the last name mentioned by Yus Gz, Smelly.
Doesn’t look to have any gang ties, right? Well, opps like Yus Gz may think a bit differently.
Reports paint a sad end for the 17-year-old high school graduate that was said to be planning on attending Boricua College in two weeks, to pursue becoming a police officer. Ironic, isn’t it. Wish he got the chance to pursue his dream down the right path. Esmerlyn Toribio aka Smelly was knifed to death in front of his building on E. 182nd St. near Valentine Ave. in Fordham Heights in 2016. Smelly and a homie linked up with a guy named Sanchez to sell him a mini-dirk bike. Smelly was the plug for the low low, the bike, worth around $300 was sold to Sanchez for $80, but things went downhill after the successful sale. Reports state that minutes after, Smelly doubled back with his homies and demanded the motorcycle returned. Sanchez wasn’t gna just be bullied and stood his ground. Smelly began throwing hands, but Sanchez, probably realizing he was outnumbered pulled a knife and plunged it into Smelly’s chest. He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital but chances to save his life failed https://youtu.be/GdAmcpHaQvQ https://youtu.be/EkGTRM9C9kk
Sanchez was apprehended on murder charges
Just like that both of their lives was messed up. That’s the streets these days, it takes and takes and takes and only gives blood and pain. Smelly was a close homie to Bronx rapper, Lil Tjay and ever since his passing his music is filled with references to his slain homie even releasing a tribute song about the hole in his heart left behind https://youtu.be/4KhOCJ5GFc4
It’s sad that all the victims pointed out in these lyrics are young, haven’t even lived life as yet. All influenced in the same toxic hood environment that continues to cause bloodshed. RIP to all of em. If you’d like me to do a part two to this video, just let me know, there are more disturbing vids that display lyrics of youths that have been brainwashed to see each other as opps instead of brothers and sisters https://youtu.be/PM4DgM9dbzo (0:27-0:30)
So there you have it. Thanks for kicking it with yah boy, appreciate the love and support. Catch ya’ll in the next one. Peace up and peace out.
