JDAVEN was born out of necessity when he discovered someone else was using his old name, just two months before his album release. “I had to act fast,” he recalls, and JDAVEN emerged as the perfect fit.

Written ten years ago and recently remixed, the song draws inspiration from Exodus 2:23-25, which speaks to the bondages we often don’t realize we carry. “The first verse represents our cry for help, and the second shows how God hears us, acknowledging our pain and providing freedom,” JDAVEN explains. For him, this song is more than a melody—it’s a message of salvation and hope, reminding us of how far we’ve come and the freedom that can be found in God.
