Summertime is the season of a million and one stories, each one different from the next. From fun in the sun to love and heartbreak, memories like these tend to leave a lasting impression. Through music, we can capture these moments for a lifetime and reflect long after they pass.
Vonny is a rising talent from Cincinnati, Ohio. Ever since adolescence, there was a passion for music brewing inside the youngster. Thanks to his grandmother, he found an outlet by participating in choir and playing the piano in her basement. As his passion began to mature, he found inspiration in Hip-Hop artists like XXXTenatacion, Juice Wrld, The Kid Laroi, Iann Dior, and Trippie Redd. Soon he was writing and recording music of his own.
Towards the end of 2021, Vonny released an EP titled “The Summer After.” The dark melodic tone of the project touched on heartbreak, toxicity, regret, and distrust. Vocalizing these emotions gave him the power to help those in similar circumstances by using his music as a coping mechanism. “The Summer After” is now available on all streaming platforms for your listening enjoyment. With a new single dropping on 4/29 (“Who You Testing?”), Vonny promises to deliver a different sound to his waiting audience. Stay up-to-date by clicking the links below for more music-related news.
