The spirit of Memphis lives in hip hop through the album “675 Frank Cir” by Baby OG.
The Memphis, Tennessee native grew up between the Longview Heights Apartments and the Pine Hill area before relocating to the Whitehaven region. His talent became apparent throughout his Whitehaven High School attendance in 2011, and has been a constant point of conversation since. Baby OG’s fanbase exploded, infatuated with his unique flow and hip-hop persona writing authentic bars from his life.
Baby OG’s talent was a wildfire that burned right to the doorstep of producer Tay Keith, who recognized the rappers worth and signed him to his label, “Drumatized.” It’s been up ever since with Baby OG flying out to meet Dream Chasers label boss, Meek Mill, and collaborating with mainstream Memphis artists like Key Glock and Blac Youngsta. Sadly, within his path to success, Baby OG lost his best friend, “Hotboy Juice” and brother, leaving a void that he filled with music to make his lost loved ones proud.
On February 4th, 2022, Baby OG released the body of work titled, “675 Frank Cir” with features from Tay Keith, Tre Davinci, JC Gwalla and Co Cash among others. The album was inspired by his come up, using a southside address in Memphis where he was raised as the title, is a promise to never forget where he came from. Baby OG was intent on delivering a project that fans could vibe to on any occasion and feel his journey, and that vision was accomplished in every track recorded by the Memphis artist. From top to bottom, “675 Frank Cir” is authentic to who he is, where he came from, and where his future is heading.
Baby OG is looking beyond the top, taking himself to international success and bringing the trap along with him. One listen of his new album and you can tell he has a story worth listening to.
