Growing through his life experiences, Vior uses all that he’s gone through to make music for fans worldwide to enjoy.
Born Christian Viera in the small town of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, he would hold a deep interest in hip hop since growing up as a young kid. Idolizing musical greats like Jay-Z, Drake, Pnb Rock and Meek Mill, his future in the music industry became his dream. Christian would go on to adopt the stage name Vior that originated from his high school alias. Before he found his passion for rapping, girls at his school would often refer to him as Christian Vior and the exotic sounding name stuck with him as he stepped into the music industry. Thus, the shortened moniker, Vior.
As 2018 came into being, Vior began focusing fully on his rap career, working on his craft to develop his unique flow layered over intricate beats that have worked in his favor. Fans gravitated to the rapper’s catchy sound, growing his following and support. Since then, he has become the face of music that creates a vibe that gives off good energy and denounces negativity. Through his music, he pours from aspects of his life with rhyme schemes and flows that show his versatility over any beat he steps into the booth with. Vior is a perfectionist with his compositions, and it shows in the life stories pieced together through his bars and melodic flows.
With continued releases, Vior has been proving that the ambitions and dreams of his mind far exceed the small town that gave him his start in life. As his brand expands into the world, he intends to not only go mainstream but carry his city on his back along with him. His perseverance and consistency with quality music brought him into big rooms with major producers Marvlus and Chef Pasquale who are the masterminds behind many hits of Pnb Rock. Vior took his milestones and added to their success with the creation of his own record label “We On Everything.” The label houses everything that the artist places his hands on, allowing him to control his creative works while he enjoys the benefits of doing what he loves.
While Covid’s presence brought a halt to many other artists in the industry, Vior took the time to continue working on more projects to bring to fans. On June 18th he gave a look into the evolution of his hard work with the release of the visual for the cut “Past Life” from his upcoming album “What Better Time Than Now” scheduled for a July release. “Past Life” takes inspiration from the experiences that changed the course of his life. He delves into past relationships, breakups, and fallouts, painting the scene of how they affected his growth to the artists he has become. The track cements Vior’s mindset on the future while leaving the events of his past behind.
“What Better Time Than Now” is just that, a declaration of his time to take over with summer bangers over up-tempo beats. With the dedication and consistency paying off for the PA rapper, he is intent on not letting the moment slip. Everything is falling into place for Vior and his upcoming album will take his music into the next chapter of his career. Vior is creating his own lane and getting one step closer to manifesting his dream collaboration with Pnb Rock and Drake. Be sure to follow Vior and stream his music across all platforms.
