ODI Antihero

ODI and SirGNDM, the best of both worlds

Multitalented and versatile, the artist and producer continue to make strides in his quest to be the best.

Born Aaron Singleton of Santa Monica, he would later be raised in the Mid City of Los Angeles, home to the famous house Marvin Gaye was killed in and the legend, Ray Charles’ studio. Eventually, music entered his life, and he would become intrigued by the art of rapping and producing. This gave birth to his stage names ODI (Our Deepest Inhibitions) and SirGNDM, representing his creativity as an artist, and originality as a producer, respectively. This passion for music was cemented with influences by the likes of MF DOOM, Michael Jackson, Kanye West, De La Soul, The Roots, The Gorillaz, Queen, 9th Wonder, and Stevie Wonder, among others.

He would move onto taking up residence in East Long Beach where he still writes, produces, and manages his Independent label ‘Unique Terrestrial’ and artists Andres Eloy, SB, Shiva. With time to refine his craft, he has become synonymous with being able to produce a mix of any genre and musical elements. His compositions are cinematic like a score to a film and his lyricism embodies content rooted in philosophy and modern aspects as it relates to his life and the world.

While manifesting his status in the game, he has rapped for lyricists like Pusha T and lyrically sparred with Westside Gunn and continues to gain recognition from top Emcees and producers. Now, he is on the path to leveling up with the release of his debut self-produced album ‘Antihero.’ The project is infused with comic book and pop culture metaphors and messages that revolve around his life in the midst of the good and evil in his environment. The album details the moral code of an Antihero, depicting not only his beliefs as an owner but also as a vessel in society. It is the beauty and insanity, the line that blurs Hero and Villain. “Antihero” brings the corruption and evolution of humanity to light without bias. At its end, the voice of the late MF DOOM closes the curtain, culminating on the experience of a lifetime within the album’s compositions.

As his next chapter already takes root to bloom music to come, dig into the depth of “Antihero” and become acquainted with the artist and producer, ODI and SirGNDM.
