ShoutOutYoung is a 25-year-old music producer making his way from Baltimore, Maryland. For the past half a decade, he’s been producing beats for local talent and other artists from various states. Always willing to lend a hand to a rapper in need, he’s been supplying the Baltimore area
ever since.
Young’s motivation may come from fellow producers like Zaytoven and London on the Track, but his main inspiration comes from his father, who was a gospel artist before his untimely death in 2012. After his passing, Young turned to rap in hopes of trying to find a way to cope with his loss. After a few years, he decided to focus all his energy on producing and laying down the groundwork for other artists to follow.
His melodic trap and new wave sound should be the soundtrack for every urban city. Playing out like the musical score of a gritty street drama where anything goes, and everything is up for grabs. The only thing missing is a vigilante wearing a mask and cape.
The self-taught pianist is currently working with Mississippi artist $kyOfficial, Baltimore native Bombay, and his very own brother Rex2Slick, on their next projects. Be sure to check out his Soundcloud page for a preview on what’s to come.
