Q’moshyn, pronounced “commotion,” is an American spoken word and hip hop artist, known for crafty wordplay and colorful social commentary. Q’moshyn is a founding member of artist collectives, Global rap revolution, Hip Hop Prodigies, and The Union Network. He is also a founding member of entertainment and a frequent volunteer for various youth-based and civic organizations. He has rapped on mixtapes including DJ Fahrenheit’s ‘Making the Next Hit’ and DJ Butta-Fingaz’ “Independent” mixtapes. Hood Supa Hero 3 UTV Raps EP has managed to capture the attention of hip hop listeners. Made in the theme of a UTV Raps podcast episode hosted by O. Stylez, the third installment of the HoodSupa Hero EP series is a various topics causing strife and turmoil in our community like cancel culture, the absence of forgiveness, and oddly biased critics. Q’moshyn’s ability to connect with real people despite age, gender and race is seen throughout his latest EP.

Other songs like “Said wat I said “, “Still I rise”, “I’m gone get mine” are the songs that speak on self empowerment.
Q’moshyn seamlessly mixes a style that older hip hop enthusiasts would enjoy with current social commentary and impeccable beat selection. Hulda Hicks was born in Brooklyn, NY in the late ’70s, at the time when Hip-Hop music was just emerging as an art form. Her entire life was influenced by the culture, having grown up in the epicenter of the creative movement.
As a trained musician and vocalist, Hulda got exposed to the industry in her twenties and has worked on projects with iconic figures such as the Chiffons, the Last Poets, and Montell Jordan, to name a few.
