What up gang.
Back with the real you know what’s the deal. Things have been heating up in these Atlanta streets. Say what you want about Atlanta, but they have some savages that have been acting up over the years. Mainly Young Thug and YFN Lucci.

The two have butt heads and continues to feud ever since. Homies lost, whips shot up, it’s been getting out of hand. Today we’re gna chop it up and break down the beef between Young Thug and YFN Lucci.
Neither of these dudes are a stranger to the street life. Originally, many downplay Thug’s hood ties because of his different taste in clothes and his sometimes feminine lingo https://youtu.be/viICf36u2Mw https://youtu.be/vT_-Y7zrGIQ (2:50-3:00)
But according to Thugger, “he had to wear the dress cause I had a stick” https://youtu.be/4Gip5bo9Qh8 (0:27-0:37) Don’t be fooled by his way of expressing himself, Young Thug has been thuggin in the streets since before the fame https://youtu.be/8w8QCnC2T_0 (0:21-0:26) Jeffery Lamar Williams aka Young Thug came up in the rough hood of Jonesboro South, Atlanta, Georgia https://youtu.be/jfxIsumqT9c (0:09-0:20) and has affiliations to the blood gang since a youngin https://youtu.be/HxRn5MxJm4M (1:40-1:48) In an interview with fader, he speaks about coming up as a member of the R.O.C. Crew, which he explains stands for “Rich off Crime,” “Ready on Command” or “Raised on Cleveland.” These gang ties are more than a brotherhood, but it was like a religion in his streets.

In the 2015 shooting of Lil Wayne’s tour buss, it was actually Young Thug’s manager known as the hitter, PeeWee Roscoe that was jailed for the deed https://youtu.be/RX1a7XA09PY
Thug found an outlet from the streets, rising to fame in the music industry as one of the biggest artists out with hits like “Stoner” https://youtu.be/j1cR-AW3Zf0 and his slime season mixtape series
Thugger and his crew would adopt the new name, YSL which means “Young Slime Life” or “Young Stoner Life” based on if you’re looking at it from a street perspective or a music label perspective.
YFN Lucci on the other hand, came up in Summerhill Atlanta, Georgia https://youtu.be/Hvq2PPNYeX0 (0:35-0:41) Him and his fam didn’t have much so that was motivation to make it out the hood even if it meant living a dangerous lifestyle https://youtu.be/rROlHUIngC4 (0:28-0:36) From a kid Lucci was rebellious, getting into fights and trouble until he went from being suspended repeatedly to kicked out https://youtu.be/rROlHUIngC4 (2:55-3:10) He got a job at McDonalds but the paper wasn’t adding up so he quit and went right back to the streets https://youtu.be/rROlHUIngC4 (3:12-3:18) That’s when he cliqued up with his brothers and day ones to create the group YFNBC (Young Fly Niggas Bout Cash) now abbreviated to YFN https://youtu.be/H6YPFubwEyg (0:26-0:40) https://youtu.be/rROlHUIngC4 (3:40-4:03)
Lucci would begin telling his hood lifestyle through music after his brother, YFN Kay inspired him to get into the booth https://youtu.be/rROlHUIngC4 (0:49-1:20)
His music jumped off with bangers like “Everyday We Lit” featuring PnB Rock https://youtu.be/44Vk5KyQbiA and his “Wish Me Well” mixtape series
YFN Lucci’s lifestyle however was never able to separate from his music career and it brought his family into situations that nearly cost them dearly. His spot with his moms has been shot up not once, but twice, even with a bullet catching her in the leg https://youtu.be/rROlHUIngC4 (7:12- 8:09) Lucci has spoken on both incidents stating he was most likely the target https://youtu.be/rROlHUIngC4 (8:36-8:40)
You’d think since both Thug and Lucci finally made it out the hood through their music they’d just focus on the money, but the streets never make it that easy. That lifestyle has a way of digging its claws into dude’s backs keeping em chained to the toxic violence and crime. It was all well and good until one important figure between the two lost his life. From there, it was no turning back between Lucci and Thug. The person in question was Lucci’s homie, mentor, and person that put him on, OG Nut aka BIG Nut
January 11th 2015, Donovan Thomas aka OG Nut lost his life when he was murked on McDaniel Street in the Castleberry Hill neighborhood at an Atlanta Barbershop https://www.reddit.com/r/Atlantology/comments/owc1kx/big_nut_news_coverage_yfn_lucci_and_big_nut/ (0:00-0:08)
https://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/2-adults-1-juvenile-shot-southwest-atlanta/53995190/
Nut was well respected in the streets https://youtu.be/vIv9Ki3d4xM (0:25-0:42)
But even more respected by Lucci https://youtu.be/Hvq2PPNYeX0 (9:19-9:27) https://youtu.be/8Cra-GaJfws (0:00-0:29) https://youtu.be/meswSFAFcbg (0:15-1:33)
As far as the public knew, the killers were never known and everything between Lucci and Thug was all good. But the beef became public in time and now available Fed documents in an Indictment against YFN shows that OG Nut may have been the root of where the problems between Lucci and Thug began. It states that OG Nut, who they labeled as the leader of one Blood set, fed the hostility between Bird Gang and YSL due to the belief that YSL is responsible for his death.

Later news coverage in other crimes again list OG Nut’s name as the start of as many of 37 murders.
In February 2016 the beef became known to the music industry with Lucci claiming to have smashed Thug’s shawty. Thug would post up his girl with the caption “This the only sofa this bitch on!!!”
Lucci would respond online with utter disrespect
Hinting to Thugs girl being on his sofa and posting apparent text messages between him and ole girl
Thugger would downplay the shenanigans but Lucci was on demon time and went as far as addressing it publicly in a live interview
https://youtu.be/S_tpIAJnedo (4:14-4:41)
You know messing with a man’s girl things automatically escalate where it don’t need to go and Lucci knew if he poked at that hole, pause, Thugger would eventually come out.
Some time passed and Lucci kept his homie name alive with the release of his 2017 project “Long Live Nut”
That same year, Thug chose to release his project “E.B.B.T.G.” which stands for Easy Breasy Beautiful Thugger Girls aka Beautiful Thugger Girls
While this is all fine and dandy for him, the problem came in with this tweet he made stating that he dropped the project on Tupac’s bday
because he’s the new Tupac
Boy oh boy Lucci couldn’t wait to make sure Thugger knew it was still smoke https://youtu.be/x4gJW08Rg0Y (0:11-0:24)
Thugger returned fired on the street archives of Twitter taking shots at Lucci for his dress comment
At this point you can tell Young Thug was getting irritated, because he then made this tweet online for all to see.
You know what’s crazy, this isn’t the only time he brought up Lucci’s mom n’em as a reason he didn’t yet murk him. He also said the same thing in a live interview https://youtu.be/PE5DI54xf_g (3:55-3:58) Turns out those jabs Lucci took at his shawty back then did get under Thugger’s skin.
Things took an ever more violent turn as it seems Thugger and his YSL camp barked up the wrong tree. Martinez Antwan Arnold aka YSL Lil Duke, which was often called his right hand man, would be caught lacking and shot in his left shoulder and left foot in 2018
https://www.hiphoplately.com/footage-leaks-of-ysl-lil-duke-running-shot/
The attempted hit hasn’t officially been tied to Lucci and his YFN crew but given the threats by Thugger previously, you never know.
Things again seem to be hush, that’s until Thug took it public again, posting a live calling out Lucci and his homie Sauce Walka saying both of them can get slapped https://youtu.be/Yx21jZJVTDY (51:15-51:40)
Ofc Lucci wasn’t going to back down from responding and responded he did https://youtu.be/8lmbTyFqpmY (0:43-1:30) Sauce Walka chimed in with his two cents letting Thugger have it https://youtu.be/8lmbTyFqpmY (1:32-2:00)
Thugger would upload a series of attacks aimed at Lucci’s pockets, first of a stripper calling Lucci broke and then flexing his jewelry while doubling down on slapping the slat out of Lucci https://youtu.be/eahOeKjgw04 (0:00-0:15) https://youtu.be/eahOeKjgw04 (0:37-1:10)
Little did we know, that was just the calm to the storm. In May 2019, Lucci was the victim of an attempted hit when his Mercedes SUV was shot up in Atlanta. TMZ reports that Lucci wasn’t there at the time, but police officers found a man suffering from two gunshot wounds and Lucci’s mother is the registered owner of his whip. In the clip here, obtained by TMZ, you can see bullet holes all through the whip. Shooters meant business https://www.tmz.com/2019/05/15/yfn-lucci-car-shot-bullet-holes-shooting-atlanta/
At first, there were no ties at all to who might have been the mastermind behind the shooting, but this disrespectful action on OG Nut’s grave only acts to incriminate Thugger. On the grave site the word “SLATT” was spray painted.
Now who highly publicized the use of the term and uses it in their regular lingo? https://youtu.be/_9L3j-lVLwk (2:55-3:00) https://youtu.be/kaMoFbvep3E (2:55-3:07) https://youtu.be/-Umqx1V3gJw (0:00-0:015) https://youtu.be/NCm7vUsEB_0 (4:07-4:12) Young Thug even has a track titled “Slatty” https://youtu.be/ccAJ0-_cGO0 on his recent album “Slime Language 2”
It seemed that violation of OG Nut’s grave wasn’t all the shenanigans that were afoot. YSL apparently stole a YFN chain from round either Lucci or one of his mans n’em neck https://youtu.be/w4wN1J-YzZg (0:38-0:40) Each camp was sliding back and forth behind the scenes, and Young Thug seemed to confirm he was also a victim of the get back and was looking for revenge on his “So Much Fun” track “Just How It Is” https://youtu.be/bg8OXYWNroQ (1:00-1:07) Later in that same track, Thugger exposed what may just be an incident we’ll talk about soon. In the bars he says “I got layers, I got millions, I got all type of buildings/F around and aired a pussy dude out like linen/Last dude tried me, almost got popped in Lennox/Ask the cops, ask the detectives, they know all the business”
https://youtu.be/bg8OXYWNroQ (2:20-2:32)
The incident in question was when Thugger was lurking at Lenox Mall without Lucci knowing. Getting as close as posting up Lucci’s vehicle on his IG with a message https://www.instagram.com/p/B1Ue-SAAI6p/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
Lucci called cap on the lyrics from Thugger’s album then detailed in his perspective what actually happened, and well, he said that Thugger was so scared he shit himself
Luci was out here scaring the shit out of dudes, literally. But he may want to stop going to Lenox Mall so often because again he was caught lacking, this time by YSL member Yak Gotti when he not only posted a pic online standing on top Lucci’s car but using it as the cover art for his single “In The Coupe” https://youtu.be/T3VymfY6itY
These dudes are disrespectful. It’s no wonder the beef never ends.
Lucci understandably was furious, especially since as to him, he just met ole boy in the mall and it wasn’t no smoke https://youtu.be/5ZSXscBLGKw (0:25-0:50) https://youtu.be/TF-VBi7pTE4 (3:32-3:49)
No one was stopping or attempting to stop the beef, and yet again, Lucci almost lost his life. In June 2020, Lucci’s music video at the 600 block of Martin Street was riddled with dozens of bullets by three assailants. Luckily, he wasn’t hit but a bullet grazed a 15-year-old in the thumb.
As of now, both Thugger and Lucci say its all good https://youtu.be/TF-VBi7pTE4 (3:59-4:24) https://youtu.be/PE5DI54xf_g (1:47-2:00) https://youtu.be/PE5DI54xf_g (0:16-0:38) Thugger went a step further saying if he wanted Lucci touched he could have at the BET awards https://youtu.be/PE5DI54xf_g (1:26-1:33)
Call it a blessing in disguise, but Lucci is currently fighting for his freedom in a murder charge involving some gruesome details where his slid with a crew and left his mans for dead
https://youtu.be/pOHNrsozUuI (0:00-0:36)
If you’d like me to go into detail into this situation and how the feds are trying to take down Lucci and YFN, it ain’t nothing but a word.
The beef has since been quiet due to Lucci’s incarceration. He has bigger fish to fry. Hopefully it’s a wake-up call for each side and Lucci can be released and use his success and past to lead the youth away from that lifestyle.
So there you have it. Thanks for kicking it with yah boy, appreciate the love and support. Catch ya’ll in the next one. Peace up and peace out.
