50 Cent is coming to Netflix.
The rap mogul has announced that he’s bringing his TV empire to the streaming service. On Monday, he shared a photo of the Netflix logo while teasing the partnership.
“Coming soon! ?I mean i’m coming wait a minute! you already know, #1 STARZ POWER, #1 ABC FORLIFE now what you want to Bet i do it again at ?NetFlix,” he captioned his post.
Not many details are known about the deal, but 50 has already proven himself as a power player in television. This would mark the first time he has partnered with Netflix. He also has a deal with Starz, home to his hit show “Power,” and is the executive producer of ABC’s legal drama “For Life,” which was recently renewed for a second season.
“Power Book II: Ghost,” the first of four “Power” spinoffs, will debut this September on Starz. A trailer for the series, which picks up in the aftermath of Ghost’s murder, features the cast including Michael Rainey Jr., Naturi Naughton, and Mary J. Blige.
“We are patterning it after Marvel, where different characters come in and out of other people’s shows,” “Power” creator Courtney Kemp told EW. “So there’s crossovers and some of your favorite characters will come back, even if they don’t get their own spin-off, they will show up in places. We’re trying to really do it for the fans, to give the most of what they want.”
