The stars played dress up once again while celebrating Halloween all weekend long. From the creepy to the crazy, sexy, cool, they spared no expense nailing their over-the-top looks.
Rihanna proved that her drip was too hard as she recreated one of Gunna’s famous fit pics. She made fans do a double take, rocking braids, black shorts, a leather vest, and Rick Owens sneaker boots (which she called the “Gunna’z”), completing the look with several chains and sunglasses.
She even mimicked Gunna’s exact poses, prompting a reaction from the YSL rapper himself. “Nawww U OVERLY WON,” commented Gunna, who changed his Instagram profile pic to Rihanna.
Ciara went all out with two different costumes that paid homage to her favorite artists including Selena and TLC, recreating the latter’s “No Scrubs” music video.
After going as the Nutty Professor last year, The Weeknd was unrecognizable as the Don himself, Don Vito Corleone. French Montana donned a red blazer and bandaged face while going as The Weeknd.
Cardi B was frightfully freaky as Morticia Addams, and later as a witch for a mother-daughter costume with Kulture, who hit pose after pose. Offset was the “Super Freak” himself, Rick James.
Anderson .Paak recreated Stevie Wonder and Prince’s iconic album covers, as well as his Silk Sonic collaborator Bruno Mars’ cover for 24K Magic.
Saweetie was superhero Catwoman, with an assist from Catwoman herself, Halle Berry. Chlöe Bailey was Lola from Shark Tale and Betty Boop, while her sister Halle recreated Janet Jackson’s Discipline album cover.
Lizzo hit the streets of Hollywood as Baby Yoda, Ariana Grande transformed into Miss Creature from the Black Lagoon, and Lil Nas X was Harry Potter villain Lord Voldemort. Megan Thee Stallion and G-Eazy put their own spin on Cruella, and Janelle Monáe was the grumpy Grinch.
It was a family affair as Travis Scott dressed as Jason from Friday the 13th and his daughter Stormi was a mermaid. John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, and their two kids were the Addams family. DJ Khaled and his sons dressed as matching Marios, while their mother was the Nintendo controller.
