Finally, “The Rap Game” is here, a board game for hip hop fans to enjoy, one that brings the history and culture of hip hop together.
Marcell Henry, is a 35-year-old entrepreneur hailing from Omaha, Nebraska. From the days of his childhood, he has been a lover of hip hop and the rich flavor of its culture. Henry would find delight in the creativity and talent in influential artists like Jay-Z, Nas, Young Jeezy, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne. As he grew more passionate about hip hop and what it meant to the world as a genre, he realized a gap in how it was presented and utilized. Henry would take note of the bigger picture of how much more hip hop could be. With becoming the top genre in the music industry, Henry saw it not only as a means to create music, but one that could branch off into many different avenues.
Analyzing the market and using his knowledge of the industry, he would later move to Atlanta and begin molding his brand with ingenuity. This was transformed into the new and innovative board game, “The Rap Game.” It was created and designed by Marcell Henry as a means to not only be fun but to involve what hip hop is all about. From hip hop trivia, to rap battles, rap karaoke, freestyles, beats, and dance, “The Rap Game” is very interactive and one of a kind. It leads the charge of ushering a new era of hip hop that transcends the music avenue. With this, Henry has achieved something never before done in rap. The game holds various fun dynamins. It includes an 18″ x 18″ game board, 50 Trivia cards, 6 game/player pieces, $10k play money, rap checks, 2 dice, and a Bluetooth wireless karaoke microphone. Fully equipped and ready to spark off an entertaining night filled with laughter and excitement.
The game is played using various aspects. It revolves around a two dice roll and play game. It can host anywhere between 2-6 players and each begins with $1000 cash of Rap Game Money. The main objective is to make it around the board 4 times. Every time a player makes it around the board (start/finish), they collect a $250k check. The first player to collect 4 quarterly rap checks ($1,000,000) wins the game.
Marcell Henry has broken into the board game market with something to further elevate rap and push it even higher in status. This is only the beginning for the hip hop veteran, as he plans to continue applying his expertise to build the brand of genre he has come to love so much. Currently “The Rap Game” is sold in local game stores, via website, and walmart.com. The rush has been on since its release, so don’t procrastinate in grabbing one of your own to have an enjoyable time with friends and family. Follow Marcell Henry and support the new board game taking over the market.
