What up gang.
Back with the real you know what’s the deal. Music has seen the rise of many new talents over recent times, and it seems like the era of the real is finally back. That authentic raw gritty music that brings that passion and energy. Rising star EST Gee has all eyes on him bringing that fire out of Kentucky. But that come up lost him friends, family, a scholarship and nearly cost him his life when opps got the drop on him. This is the story of EST Gee, his come up, beefs, and the events that led to him being shot up by his opps and his crew being indicted. Let’s chop it up and break it down.

When you think hip hop, your mind doesn’t go to Louisville Kentucky, but that is becoming a thing of the past with hip hop superstars like Jack Harlow
And Bryson Tiller
They have brought a particular sound out the city but in recent times a new artist has emerged from the trenches with a style of music that has captured all ears in the industry. His name, EST GEE
George Albert Stone III aka EST Gee came up in Louisville Kentucky mainly in the streets of 5500 Riata Drive https://youtu.be/poq3oWRbCYk (2:36-2:43) He was a young kid surrounded by street influences living in a home that was just trying to make it out of the trenches https://youtu.be/z73lq_g-rBo (16:45-16:51) His moms was out grinding to provide best as she could and pops was a known gangster in the streets getting shot by the time he was just 11 https://youtu.be/z73lq_g-rBo (20:47-21:03) He was putting in work to try bring his family a better life, but as EST Gee grew he understood more and more how messed up his life was https://youtu.be/z73lq_g-rBo (6:40-7:25) With his moms losing custody of him due to lifestyle circumstances https://youtu.be/z73lq_g-rBo (21:08-21:20) and pops being in prison part of his childhood, Gee didn’t have it the easiest https://youtu.be/z73lq_g-rBo (9:30-10:16)
Even with his childhood in the projects, Gee always knew he was destined for something better and put the work in on the field to gain a scholarship to Indiana State to play football https://youtu.be/UiKVd0aaRno (5:12-5:17) https://youtu.be/9s0CVtthRLY (0:00-0:30)
Bro was rated as the top linebacker in Kentucky and was nice with it. Gee would shine even harder making the move to Sacramento City College where his talent was on track to take him big https://youtu.be/OuunjMuuwdM But during all this, there was something else going on in his life. The sad reality was that Gee was funding his dreams out of his own pocket to not burden his parents any further to pay his college tuition
Gee was doing it all on his own https://youtu.be/z73lq_g-rBo (17:15-17:48)
This pushed Gee deeper into the street life that he grew up around from his childhood. It was like second nature. In the Louisville projects, Gee was surrounded by pain, death, and violence so the instincts came natural. Gee was moving weight as a big fish in the drug game and that bank was funding his career on the field. The money and vices became too much and the drug dealer and gangster EST Gee was born https://youtu.be/z73lq_g-rBo (18:03-19:00) Gee was putting in work on all ends in the streets doing it all as a youngin https://youtu.be/z73lq_g-rBo (19:20-19:35) But Gee got too caught up being greedy and it cost him everything https://youtu.be/z73lq_g-rBo (0:54-1:27) https://youtu.be/mDnUPdob-bk Tryna secure an extra bag Gee got hemmed up by the law https://youtu.be/z73lq_g-rBo (25:51-26:54) In 2016
Gee was arrested for a drug trafficking charge and facing up to 10 years https://youtu.be/UiKVd0aaRno (7:21-8:10) With a new born son on the way, EST Gee knew he couldn’t lose his freedom like that. Luckily he got lawyered up and got his charge reduced to 4 months house arrest, 5 years probation https://youtu.be/z73lq_g-rBo (28:16-30:00)
But blessings come in some of the darkest moments and that moment was EST Gee’s big break. With football dreams down the drain, he turned to rapping under the alias Big Gee. His life and experiences turned into words and it went hard https://youtu.be/z73lq_g-rBo (30:01-30:28) https://youtu.be/UiKVd0aaRno (8:23-8:46) Gee invested in a $600 studio package off eBay and began dropping heat for the streets from his bathroom on house arrest after seeing a up and coming Lil Baby doing his thing https://youtu.be/5uJwsqV0GqI (47:33-50:00)
One of his first official tracks dropped was “Stains” and his hunger, talent, and unique sound was clear as day off the rip https://youtu.be/M9rMhV6uK6Q Soon he would be off house arrest and it was go time with music. This is where his name EST found its real roots among his homies that formed the collective EST Entertainment aka Everybody Shine Together https://youtu.be/UiKVd0aaRno (34:39-34:55)
Now if you thought this was the end of his struggles, you couldn’t be more wrong, because as crazy as it sounds, this is where his real issues began. His team was everybody shine together but somewhere in the mix, somebody didn’t want EST Gee to shine. But before tragedy struck, at this point in his life a key figure and homie helped him in the music game, YOG Peso https://youtu.be/3Lr4gBDx0aw (0:52-1:04) Word is that they both were football players at Xavier High School and Peso was like a bro to Gee. Guess real bonds never end, well at least that’s what they thought.
In 2018 they dropped the banger “The Come Up” https://youtu.be/UvdepwwfzLI and everything seemed to be on the up and up. They would link up to celebrate Gee’s freedom and that’s when things went sour. On July 2019, the two and their camps hit up Quality Over Quantity Media Studio to supply heat for the streets https://youtu.be/3Lr4gBDx0aw (0:37-0:45) But somewhere in the process an altercation broke out between the two sides and shots were fired, ending the life of studio owner, 27-year-old Brian Owsley aka Coach O aka Big O https://youtu.be/KsdoH7l6gY0
The significance of this was that Big O was not only a pillar in the community as a coach and mentor for the youth, but he was a stand-up guy and respected key figure to West End Louisville.
This is where hood politics ignites a ton of beef and tragedy coming Gee’s way. Like many other cities, Louisville’s street scene is divided into sets. You have, East End
South End
West End
and Newburg where Gee reps
After Big O’s passing in EST Gee and the West End altercation, the two sides were no longer allied with each other. The music collabs stopped and EST Gee and YOG Peso even though friends from the jump had to part ways due to their affiliations. This was when West End hood savage Hblocc Duke started applying pressure on EST Gee
Hblocc Duke reps Hblocc which is 23rd and Humler St. Louisville and can be seen posted up in his songs like “KuttThroat Baby” https://youtu.be/5obxyB8Iebo (0:03-0:15)
On his Soundcloud page his bio also draws reference to his hood and 23rd and Humler St which they personally call Hblocc
The West End would begin to set things in motion to take EST Gee’s life, but Gee was still pushing his music and moving up the ranks, even linking with Louisville major artists Jack Harlow for the banger “Mall Map” https://youtu.be/8kHuoU796ps Jack kept it 100 and put on for his mans, brining him out on tour against cops warning to stay away from Gee https://youtu.be/W11hPKT33rM (10:12-12:04) https://youtu.be/8kHuoU796ps (3:06-3:22) Gee followed up his buzz, dropping two mixtapes in 2019 “El Toro” and “Die Bloody”
He was taking off but not if Hblocc Duke had anything to say about it. The West End finally made their move in September 2019 after Gee filmed the music video for his track “Taught Different” with Sada Baby.
Gee and his bro were in the whip when another vehicle pulled up and wet down their Hellcat. His brother would be hit in the leg and Gee would be hit 4 times in the stomach and one bullet ricochet into his left eye. Recalling the situation, Gee thought he was done but his bro came through clutch, keeping his awake and rushing them to the hospital https://youtu.be/UiKVd0aaRno (8:58-9:30) https://youtu.be/UiKVd0aaRno (9:58-11:00) https://youtu.be/UiKVd0aaRno (11:38-12:03)
I did some digging and found this news article referencing two men shot up in their whip around the same time but no names were given in the report
https://www.wlky.com/article/police-say-2-shot-on-i-264-near-poplar-level-road/28979126
Gee had to do multiple surgeries especially to regain some sense vision in his left eye https://youtu.be/UiKVd0aaRno (12:19-13:16) Est Gee miraculously survived and like a slap to his opps face he was dropping music during recovery including the music video for Taught Different which they used to plot on him before https://youtu.be/UiKVd0aaRno (13:17-13:25) https://youtu.be/sItHVNzB3HM He was using his tragedy to his advantage, even using a picture of him with his eye patch for his 2020 project “Ion Feel Nun” where he addresses the situation on the track “Nathaniel Forest” https://youtu.be/hNvJLtQvET8
Gee would sit down in an interview with Off The Porch and state hate and jealousy in the camp for what happened after a falling out with a friend which gives credit to the studio shootout that took Big O’s life breaking the crews apart https://youtu.be/UiKVd0aaRno (14:18-14:49) Gee said something chilling in the interview as well, implying that business was already handled and they got it back in blood https://youtu.be/UiKVd0aaRno (14:50-14:58) Maybe he was referring to the hit on West End native, Brandon Waddles
Waddles was caught lackin’ inside him home and murked, but unfortunately the shooter also took the life of his 3-year-old daughter https://youtu.be/eV2Woo7RGro (0:26-0:38)
The connection to EST would be made certain later on but all cops knew for now was they caught the shooter, Kevon Lawless and charged him with murder.
Later, Hblocc Duke would come for Gee on wax with the diss track, EST “EverybodyShotTogether” and while the disses were cold, Hblocc Duke included footage of Gee’s shot up whip and him stitched up in the hospital while rapping the bars “We get on EST for free ask Gee bout the freeway. We the reason for that bad eye and that zipper on his stomach and a couple of his dead homies” https://youtu.be/1wo_x7aHrRQ (0:21-0:29) But hold up, you hear that last line that implies the West End murked some of Gee’s homies? Well, those words were true, West End spun the block, taking the life of Gee’s close homie, Austin Floyd when they murked him on the 200 block of North 36th Street. Floyd would succumb to his injuries at University of Louisville Hospital.
https://www.wave3.com/2020/10/02/gunshot-victim-dies-after-arriving-uofl-hospital/
This hit Gee like a ton of bricks as that was his mans. Floyd could be seen in music videos like “Get Money” https://youtu.be/sf0y_SMbv_Q (0:12-0:14) https://youtu.be/sf0y_SMbv_Q (0:56-0:59) https://youtu.be/sf0y_SMbv_Q (1:49-1:52) To this day Gee has his picture as his IG profile pic keeping his memory alive
The bodies were piling but EST wasn’t going to let that stand and upped the score again when Newburg affiliate, Warren Freeman
caught a charge for the murder of West End affiliate Reginald Johnson in Louisville’s Highlands neighborhood.
Even though Warren was caught on footage firing shots at the sidewalk in the direction of Johnson, he was somehow cleared of all charges and the case dismissed without prejudice due to lack of probable cause.
Caught a body and seemingly got away with it. EST was up. Not to mention Gee was blowing up, dropping tracks with the big leaguers like Moneybagg Yo https://youtu.be/hgE6K_QvMy0 Lil Baby https://youtu.be/yhoGtNiNX40 and Lil Durk with the track “In Town” where he showed clips of Austin Floyd throughout the video https://youtu.be/ZWlsxC_tqDE Plus he secured a $750k bonus upon signing with Yo Gotti’s CMG label https://youtu.be/pU8HdRiGxa8 (1:03-2:35)
Gee was forever getting his lick back for dudes that tried to snake him and he made it known in his track “Lick Back” where he came for the opps neck with the bars https://youtu.be/iwOvd45Xt30 (1:25-1:40)
The Wolf trap and smokin wolf pack referred to in the song is the West End after they became known as The Wolf Pack going at anyone who opposes their set or movement. Gee bounced back and was winning taking over the industry. That was until he suffered a series of painful deaths. First his mom lost the fight to cancer, then his brother was murked in the streets https://youtu.be/UiKVd0aaRno (16:11-16:30) https://youtu.be/UiKVd0aaRno (18:47-19:00) Then if that wasn’t enough, the law cracked down on the entire EST in their federal drug bust. EST Gee although not arrested himself, saw his name and crew plastered across news media worldwide
EST, labeled a street gang operating in Louisville by the feds, lost 10 of their members to the law under charges for trafficking, drug distribution, and conspiracy, three of which are still on the run
The take down came at the hands of the federal initiative called Project Safe Neighborhoods and investigations began after Kevon Lawless murked Brandon Waddles and his 3-year-old daughter, Trinity Randolph. Lawless was bailed out for 300K with a number of checks stamped Everybody Shine Together Entertainment.
Everybody Shine Together Entertainment LLC showed records of both EST Gee and his manager and business partner Eric Mosley names being behind the company
Cops also tapped into the lyrics of Gee’s song “Sky Dweller” where he raps “They want one mil’ for Lil’ Kada, know I’m comin’ to get you, baby/Know my heart might get me killed, but it got me here, so risks, I’m takin” https://youtu.be/BLQ1uCr3jrU (1:07-1:13) Lil’ Kada is Kevin Lawless name in the streets. Mix that with the name signed as paying the bond being Nigel Talley, who is an A&R at Atlantic Records and also connected to Gee as the one who linked him with Yo Gotti https://youtu.be/RLLVBmDQqjU (0:55-1:22) https://youtu.be/W11hPKT33rM (2:58-3:50) https://youtu.be/tfVZeQARstU (5:53-7:38)
This gave the cops evidence to connect the dots and swoop in for the takedown.
They pulled up on Mosley at a Louisville hotel and served a warrant and caught him with a kilogram of cocaine, $100,000 cash, an AK-47-style pistol and a stolen handgun. He’s facing minimum of 10 years in prison and a maximum penalty of life in prison.

EST Gee have dodged an arrest that would end his career. It’s still possible for someone arrested to sell him out to save themselves, you know how it goes, but hopefully he can remain clean from the drama and continue his career because right now he’s one of the hottest in the game.
Other than another smalltime Louisville rapper Junie502 trying to beef with Gee, he seems to be in the clear for now.
Hopefully he doesn’t take the bait and sparks another feud with Junie502’s taunts https://youtu.be/sf0y_SMbv_Q (0:47-0:53) https://youtu.be/5VLl4hiPtPc (0:23-1:16) https://youtu.be/ACacRlpcaOg (0:27-1:31) https://youtu.be/_obEgmCBhKM
So there you have it. Thanks for kicking it with yah boy, appreciate the love and support. Catch ya’ll in the next one. Peace up and peace out. https://youtu.be/W11hPKT33rM (20:50-21:25)
