Born to Haitian parents, Brooklyn, New York native Bianca Wilourdes Francois first became known as the songstress Ella René. Influenced by 90’s R&B and the icon Toni Braxton herself, her talent was nurtured by some of the greatest vocals to ever touch the mic. With developing her own style and sparking new sensation into the contemporary sound of the 90’s era, she changed her name to Lordus to embark on the next chapter of her career.
Lordus has been setting records in the industry with numerous accolades that are worthy of compliments. In 2018, she not only performed at Brooklyn’s annual Coney Island Nathan’s 4th of July Festival, but also at Essence Festival Center Stage in New Orleans. Her talent was the real deal. Her lyrical style and vocal performance made her a budding star. Hulda Hicks was born in Brooklyn, NY in the late ’70s, at the time when Hip-Hop music was just emerging as an art form. Her entire life was influenced by the culture, having grown up in the epicenter of the creative movement.
As a trained musician and vocalist, Hulda got exposed to the industry in her twenties and has worked on projects with iconic figures such as the Chiffons, the Last Poets, and Montell Jordan, to name a few. Her passion for music extended past the stage on to the page when she began to write ad copy and articles as a freelancer for several underground publications.
