Miami-born entrepreneur getting local people to travel outside of their comfort zones simply to
party, and live life to the fullest
Big Moneye is setting a record for himself with his event contracting business. The talented
entrepreneur is offering clients the ultimate club or social event experience they can possibly
have.
Born and raised in Miami, Dade, Big Moneye grew up with the philosophy that one has to hustle
to make it in life and also know that life is about the survival of the fittest. With this knowledge,
Big Moneye from an early age chose to “hit the streets” and “chase the bag”. This led him to
start promoting for events and has been at it for 5 years now and counting.
As an independent contractor, Big Moneye works to close contracts alone. His entrepreneurial
skill of ensuring that all clients’ events are sold out is second to none. When working on an event
for his clients, Big Moneye goes the extra mile of getting local people to travel outside of their
comfort zones simply to party, and live life to the fullest.
On his first “on the road tour” as Big Moneye likes to call them, Big Moneye was able to attract
a huge turnout with the numbers increasing with every event he is contracted for.
One of the main challenges Big Moneye had to face at the launch of his career, was trying to get
his crowd to move from venues and events they were used to and trying something new. Unlike
recent times, people were set in their routines which gave him a bit of a challenge as a new
promoter. This is however not the case as today, people are always ready to try the hottest new
spot without caring much as to who is behind the scenes, but more about the social crowds that
are going to be in attendance and this is what Big Moneye focuses on.
Big Moneye understands the importance of maintaining consistency to be successful and he
prides in it. According to him, “An individual has to be ready to hear 1000 no’s and still have the
drive to go at it again in search of that one Yes.” His advice to other entrepreneurs who are just
starting out is to “never worry about how many other people or businesses are offering your
same service. Continue to push your brand like you are the only one because no one can please
everybody. Meaning you never know who or what you may attract and it’s plenty money out
there to be made.”
Big Moneye is working towards having bases on both the east and west coast as well as few in
the Caribbean which is where he travels to most often. He currently hosts events year-round in
Miami, and annually in other states and islands. With bases in more locations, he believed he will
be able to host year-round events in all locations at the smart time which will advance his career
more swiftly and bring in more returns. He also intends to collaborate with hip hop artist Lil’
Baby.As a socially responsible person, Big Moneye is making plans to be a blessing to the less
fortunate by giving back or paying it forward. His vision is however not limited to helping the
less fortunate materialistically, but also inspirationally.
