Bro may not see the light of day until he’s old and grey, but that hasn’t stopped him from raising hell behind bars. Still thuggin, still banging, still rebellious. He’s racking up more charges even serving 55 years but he believes he can come home, but can he? We’ll find out looking at his life behind bars. Let’s chop it up and break it down.
Taymor Travon McIntyre aka Tay K was just another boy born into the trenches. The hood saw him grow molding into a savage with no respect for the life of anyone in his way
He was kickin it with the wolves, so he became one himself, just that Tay K was a different breed of savage that would soon go too far on his quest for being gang gang. Fast forward to July 26th 2016, a 16-year-old Tay K was charged along with six others in connection with a home invasion that left a 21-year-old, Ethan Walker dead
His roommate Zachary Beloate
was dating a shawty that backdoored him. Ole girl exposed to Tay K and the gang bro was moving weight and had the stash at the crib. Tak K nem popped up but things went sideways and both Zac and Ethan was shot with Ethan getting hit in the heart area losing his life https://youtu.be/jr7DC2GVwcs (1:51-2:16) https://youtu.be/AC52NvHgJJQ (0:22-0:43) They messed up letting Zac survive, but the Big Man upstairs was looking out for bro.
https://www.xxlmag.com/timeline-tay-k-legal-troubles/
With Zac alive Tay K nem identities were known and they were arrested https://youtu.be/D9z3Sj164rE (1:06-1:53)
Tay K was released on house arrest, but bro was too much of a menace to realize the dire situation he was in. Instead Tay K not only cut off his ankle monitor and went on the run, but he documented his every move online
I know the cops was mad pressed with that tweet. Even more so when Tay K dropped one of the most iconic tracks titled “The Race” with a music video while on the run where he rapped about his entire escape https://youtu.be/3nyV5ZU1ME8 (2:34-2:40)
Tay K was driving round on the run, bumping the track in broad daylight like it was non https://youtu.be/G6f-qK8oeDQ (0:07-0:20)
US Marshals wasn’t going for it and caught bro the same day the vid dropped. Tay-K tried to outsmart em, hitting em with the ole “I swallowed some pills and hearing voices” trick, but they did a psyche test and called bro bluff https://youtu.be/D9z3Sj164rE (1:56-2:15) https://youtu.be/WgBYtfh20Ko (22:04-22:06)
Tay K was extradited back to Tarrant County where his life behind bars began. At this point I don’t even think Tay K realized just how deep in he was. He sent out a letter from behind bars trying to get onto the XXL Freshman 2018 list.
In the letter he talks about having the biggest hit “The Race” and states that he came fromthe streets to the charts and from Iron to Platinum, which his song The Race earned
Eventually a judge ruled to move Tay K to an adult jail and have his case tried in adult court where things only took a turn for the worse for the rapper.

Turns out, bro was out doing drills while on the run, allegedly taking the life of 23-year-old Mark Anthony Saldivar

And accused of giving a vicious case of the beats to a 65-year old Skip Pepe before robbing him and leaving him for dead https://youtu.be/CcnlYyr8x-g (1:18-1:56)
Tay K’s attorney was tryna secure a bond but with all the new allegations along with him playing in the judge face with The Race, the judge wasn’t going for it and removed any bond deals from the table

Tay K could care less, bro was behind them prison walls stocking up on hella snacks for the winter, and still throwing up gang signs banging on the opps https://youtu.be/01Exw2nxTQs (1:14-1:28) https://youtu.be/01Exw2nxTQs (0:05-0:16) According to him in a Say Cheese jail call interview, everyone respected him behind bars https://youtu.be/fJSxBqFNrWE (4:38-5:14)
But things began looking like it was taking a toll on the rapper as time went on and his case weighing on his mind. A video would surface that appears to show Tay K getting emotional while talking to the homies https://youtu.be/01Exw2nxTQs (1:43-1:54) Then photos would emerge showing Tay K no longer in his green prison drip
But now got on what is described as an anti-suicide suit, giving the impression that Tay K was on the verge of giving in and harming himself
https://www.xxlmag.com/tay-k-possibly-wears-anti-suicide-smock-in-latest-prison-photo/
Tay K’s manager would hop on IG posting an explanation for the pic, saying it was all a tactical move. Apparently, Tay K was locked in solitary and in an attempt to dodge the harsh treatment he’s getting behind bars, he pretended that he was losing it and going to harm himself
That didn’t make things seem any better, because he basically confirmed that Tay K was being given hell by officials behind there. That didn’t mean though that Tay K wasn’t giving hell back. In fact, during his case, correction officers testified that Tay K was a menace to staff, going as far as taunting them along the halls, tryna grab em and hold em, and even tossing wet toilet paper at other inmates https://youtu.be/VanZG6v4hE4 (1:04-1:23) But that wasn’t the worst of Tay K’s life in a cell. Apparently, Tay K was found with a phone in jail and prosecutors couldn’t wait to add it to his growing list of charges
Tay K was unlucky with electronics behind them bars. In 2018 he linked up with Adam from No Jumper on a jail call interview and slipped up stating that he be jamming out to tunes on his iPad https://youtu.be/9IGvnmn9QuY (0:55-1:11) That would get Tay K tossed in the hole after his management reviewed and ok’d the interview without thinking to remove that part https://youtu.be/DgpRzEPHz-k (3:58-4:26) That interview in question was to promote his track “Hard” with BlocBoy Jr, released under No Jumper https://youtu.be/DgpRzEPHz-k (3:17-3:26) The track legit went hard, pun intended https://youtu.be/SEYdPQ5VKbY (0:18-0:39)
Trench facts: Tay K recorded the verse for “Hard” while on the run at a studio in New Jersey https://youtu.be/9IGvnmn9QuY (3:07-3:30)
Tay K’s shenanigans robbed the jail personnel the wrong way. The electronic devices were the last straw. Before that he got into it with an inmate, and they were already considering moving him to a maximum-security prison. Now, it was without a doubt what they would do, and Tay K was moved to maximum-center Los Evans Correction Center
Tay K went from bad to worse. He was on 23 hour lock down with only one hour allowed for gym

By this time things aren’t looking too promising for Tay K behind bars, but if its one thing, bro was looking forward like he was about to be out anytime soon. If you ask Tay K, he was finna beat the case no doubts about it. Confidence was over 9000 https://youtu.be/9IGvnmn9QuY (6:40-6:53) Tay K not only was writing songs behind bars to drop when he got out, but he released his mixtape “Santana World” composed mainly of his old tracks so he could have it on iTunes to make some bank while locked https://youtu.be/fJSxBqFNrWE (12:03-12:33)
https://youtu.be/9IGvnmn9QuY (7:50-8:15)
Tay K was keeping the hope alive, but as if all his legal woes wasn’t enough, Tay K just couldn’t stay out of trouble. Inmate documents would show another charge added to his growing list of woes, this time for possession of a prohibited substance
https://www.xxlmag.com/tay-k-charged-with-possession-of-prohibited-substance-in-jail/
Tay K was fighting an uphill battle and it was like he was willingly adding more weight on himself. Well, one of his co-defendants, Ariana Bharrat,
was about to help sink him further away from freedom. Seeing the numbers ahead of her, she agreed to testify on Tay K in order to reduce her sentence from capital murder to 25 years for aggravated robbery
https://hiphopdx.com/news/id.48066/title.tay-k-picks-up-another-felony-while-incarcerated
It’s crazy how Tay K risked it all to become buzzing in the rap game taunting the cops, and now he’s just falling from grace like a ton of bricks. Bro needed someone to just tell him, yow, slow down. Tay K was speeding bruh, and you’d think by now with all stacked against him he’d chill. Hell naw, Tay K upped the ante. Prosecutors would submit documents alleging Tay-K assaulted a fellow inmate and attempted to start a new gang called the Rug-Rats while behind bars
Bro was a savage to the core. Tay K has referenced himself as a Rugrat in the past, even on his “Santana World” track “Saran Pack” where he raps “Bih I’m a rugrat, I don’t know how to love back” https://youtu.be/XsJnH6WoWDw (0:33-0:37) Tay K allegedly had everything from rules aka laws of power, to gang structure everything
Bro allegedly had rules talkm bout no hurting or slaughter of children, unless necessary
The report from prosecutors went on to say something even wilder. It stated that Tay K was behind bars refusing to give the sergeant the phone he got caught with saying “I’m not giving you the phone, you are not going to bully me, you gonna have to come and take it.” But wait, there’s more,
Tay K was allegedly threatening everything moving, also telling the sergeant “I see you on the street, you better run.”
Tay K was bone thuggin it with no harmony for the prison rules. Everyone could become a pack and he was allegedly banging inmates’ heads on the wall nearly catching a body while fighting a case for a body
https://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/crime/article226974284.html
Prosecutors couldn’t wait to do him in, and in July 2019, Tay K’s fate was revealed. He pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated robbery but not to the capital murder charge. Tay K would dodge a bullet when he was found not guilty for capital murder but he was still found guilty for the lesser murder charge and aggravated robbery and was sentenced to 55 years for his role in a 2016 homicide https://youtu.be/3nyV5ZU1ME8 (0:02-0:40) https://youtu.be/aSGvXig6hSo (0:20-0:54)
Ironically, his viral hit “The Race” played a role in painting him as a dangerous gang affiliated rapper that had no care for human life or the law
And just like that, Tay K, the youngin with so much potential was swept in with the pile of rappers lost to bad decisions inspired by the trenches. Tay K moved on to try doing some good behind bars, pursuing his GED https://youtu.be/9IGvnmn9QuY (3:54-4:10) Still, time showed that Tay K can’t catch a break. November 2020, rumors would spread saying Tay K got his sentence extended after shanking a prison guard. Already fighting for an appeal, his management quickly shut down those rumors and said Tay K would be home soon
Tay K however seems to think his current team doesn’t have what it takes to make that appeal successful and he made it known tweeting he needs a new appeal lawyer
On Tay K’s twitter existed words that probably was the most genuine from the rapper since. Seems the reality behind bars eventually started to sink in. Tay K apologized for acting immaturely with his past actions, but also blasted his management, labels, and team for silencing him and says he will no longer let the media paint him to be some monster cuz it’s not true
The messed up thing is, Tay K is still facing another robbery and murder charge for the dude he allegedly murked and the 65-year-old he assaulted and robbed while on the run https://youtu.be/3nyV5ZU1ME8 (2:40-2:49) It’s a long road ahead for the once buzzing rapper. He seems to believe he can make it out, but time will tell. The latest vids of the rapper behind bars shows him talking to his bae all in love and pics posted to his IG on his bday in June of 2022 https://youtu.be/wt-O7nf-nzI (0:03-0:25)
So there you have it. Thanks for kicking it with yah boy, appreciate the love and support. Catch ya’ll in the next one. Peace up and peace out https://youtu.be/OYhXJaEbw7c (1:12-1:38)
