Independent rapper, musician and recovering alcoholic Young Hoff announced that he will be releasing his debut studio album, “Hi, My Name Is Justin,” on September 12, 2024 to all streaming services. Coinciding with the album release is the official “Hi, My Name Is Justin” music video, directed and edited by Hoff, along with Hatch 86 Films. September 12, 2024 also marks Hoff’s four-year anniversary without alcohol.
Following a brief musical hiatus, the 29-year-old rapper-songwriter is unveiling a collection of stories and
experiences that are vibrant, full of frankness and vulnerability that listeners battling similar
addiction storms can hopefully find comfort in.
“I want this album to show people struggling that they aren’t alone, show inexperienced users
how bad it can get, or help people on the outside get a better understanding of what we go
through as addicts.” – Young Hoff
“Hi, My Name Is Justin” is an album that takes deep inspiration from Hoff’s personal battle with
alcoholism and substance abuse. It is a well-defined, colorful tapestry of growth and
self-discovery, perhaps embodying “started from the bottom, now we’re here.” He is a
soul-healer; a solace provider. No matter what you are going through, Hoff wants this album to
help you feel validated and find comfort in knowing you are not alone.
“This is the performance of a man who has learned from his experiences and absolved himself.” –
Delvin W., Tunepical. Every note he plays and every lyric he writes demonstrates his remarkable dedication to growth, health, and prosperity.
