Putting in work on his career consistently, Bronx rapper, CM Ceez is having his breakout run in the industry.
Born and raised in the Bronx by Dominican parents, Cesar De La Rosa grew up on OG rappers like 50 Cent, The Lox, Ruff Ryders, and Mr. Blueprint himself, Jay Z. At a young age, Cesar would be inspired to pursue a career of his own and adopted the alias Cash Money CEEZ aka CM CEEZ. By 2012 his focus on being a rapper became a serious dream and his grind followed suit. The dedication to his craft brought its merits. Firstly, collaborating with the late Bronx icon, Fred The Godson at the time he made the XXL magazine 2011 freshman list. Following that achievement, he appeared on stage with the late legendary NY icon, DMX. CM CEEZ was realizing his dreams step by step.
At the same time, his viral single “Beamer Bitch” was running up numbers. His alternative vibe and intriguing lyricism combined with his drive to always push the boundaries of creativity brought about growth in his music. With his move into life in Florida, CM CEEZ wanted to give fans a deeper side to his life while releasing something to motivate and inspire. What became of those emotions was his 7-track mixtape “Cash is King” released on October 12th. The project is well thought out and written in order to curate something of substance while still having bangers to vibe to. “Cash is King” plays on the high priority placed on wealth in the industry and is a mixtape meant to give power to the dreams of his fans. With notable cuts like “Control” and “Shine” it’s a no-brainer that this project is a must in any playlist.
CM CEEZ has grown into an exceptional artist and his time is now. Follow him online and stream his new mixtape “Cash is King” on all platforms.
