Mix discipline and dedication with raw talent, and you get the next rapper to take over hip-hop, Darkface Squatta.
Coming out of the streets of Carbondale, Illinois, up and coming rapper Darkface Squatta has been steadily building his fanbase from the ground up. With a track record in the game for sixteen years, Darkface Squatta has expanded his reach throughout the Bootheel Missouri region, Southern Illinois, Tennessee, and other outside states. His fanbase has grown accustom to a level of lyricism and musical composition that has placed him in the ranks of geniuses.
As his craft evolved and he created the style that captivates listeners, Darkface Squatta has graced the stages of many notable events and collaborated with major artists in the industry. To date, he has done over 200 shows, opening up for major artists like Plies, Kevin Gates, Myco Montana, Yayo Gang, Blac Youngsta, Gangsta Black, and Zed Zilla among others. His collaborations range from features with Big Kuntry Kane, Juicemobb, and Young Dro. Darkface Squatta, already accomplishing that much within his career thus far, still aims to elevate himself even higher. A beast upon the mic, he also co-produces his own music and ventured into the world of book publishing. Darkface Squatta has penned his many experiences through life in the pages of his book “A Kingpins Fantasy” that has built a genuine bond between him and his fanbase.
His journey to where he now resides, wasn’t one without pain or loss. After losing his brother Deno Brown, founder of Denoworld Music Group, Darkface Squatta had to deal with tremendous grief. Deno was destined for even greater things, but lost his life trying to do the good deed of breaking up a fight. Darkface Squatta fought his demons and made the decision from thenceforth to make music his priority as a promise to his brother to never stop rising. His resume began stacking, putting in the time and work to climb to the top. After experiencing a roadblock when he spent time in the penitentiary, Darkface Squatta refused to let that taint all that was meant for him. Instead, he grew even deeper in his dedication and has been recording nonstop and doing shows.
Everything that he has achieved and every blessing his way, is well deserved. His versatility to rap and do R&B is a rare gift that continues to take him closer to his dreams. Darkface Squatta speaks his heart in his music and delivers nothing but truth and passion in his lyrics. Stay current on his journey to stardom and stream his music via the links:
