When you take the blueprint of secular rap and reinvent it with Christian rap, you get the legend in the making, Dkg Kie.
Brent Davis is the Detroit Michigan native using music to push God’s message and inspire the world in a positive direction. His hip hop roots sprouted from musical influences like Aha Gazelle, Tee Grizzly, Sada Baby, Kanye West, and Drake among others. On the path to create a legacy of his own, Davis adopted the stage name Dkg “Demon Killer Gang” Kie which embodies the essence of his music and lifestyle.
His talent has allowed him to crack the audible code which gives him the versatility to combine secular flows and cadence with the positive message of Christ. His musical inspiration aims to kill demons; spiritually, mentally, and emotionally, overcoming downfalls and mountains along life’s journey. With the popularity of his Tik Tok lyric videos spiking, his growing fame in the music industry opened the doors to numerous interviews, publications and record deal offers from labels seeing the limitless extent of Dkg Kie’s abilities on the mic.
Having a couple features under his belt through Detroit artist, Leek Hustle and top 3 billboard charting Christian artist, Zauntee, Dkg Kie turned his focus to releasing his album “Saved Not Soft.” The body of work reflects his character and embodies who he is. It introduces the world to the next artist in line to become a household name in the music industry. “Saved Not Soft” displays Dkg Kie’s love for God along with his willingness to hand out L’s if the devil wants smoke. It’s deep, lyrical, but also an album composed of a mixture of various genre influences that can turn up any spot and create a fun vibe.
Dkg Kie is where it’s at. Support true talent and stream his catalog that has everything from substance to turn up bangers. It’s a win win.
